I teach everything I know about welding and fabricating with aluminum here www.6061.com Order the same TIG Button variable amperage finger controller I use here www.6061.com/tigbutton.htm I'll explain what this contraption I made is used for in an upcoming video. Thanks for watching
done and done a while ago. I still use my foot pedal 90% of the time but that TIG button is a must-have for the other 10. I appreciate the fresh content. fun to watch.
The TIG button is such an intuitive way to control amperage,I dont get why manufacturers dont offer something similar as standard. Unfortunately it is not available for my machine. Love the longer and more detailles videos ☺
Which torch are you using with the button attachment I have 2 dynasty 400 machines for heavy aluminium welding (tanks for radiators) mostly 15mm thick sometimes 30mm. I'm also having trouble with the standard earth cable when welding at high amps it seems to glow red any fix for this?
Your work is always awesome and an inspiration. I work for one of the biggest sheet metal fabrication companies in the world and I've seen quite a bit. You're exceptional.
Okay Aaron, you can retire now, you’ve achieved the highest goal any fabricator can aspire to, Ron doesn’t just toss around the word “stunning”. He has spoken.
I've been welding nearly 35 years, you do some of the best work I've saw. Keep it up, lets keep teachin the greenhorns so they got a good example. God bless. Stay safe.
Mate i must say without sounding piss pockety, ive not seen inspirational, neat, well organised vids like yours. Late nights layed back watching how you tig is so damn mesmerising, i wish i could be half as neat. Thanks for the vids mate 👍
gotta say one of the best things ive learned from this channel was about the TIG button i have been using the same one i have bought 3 years ago and its a game changer!
As usual, that was awesome. Love the arc shots, can never get enough of those. That Idaho footage was spectacular, plus, you’re on a 2 stroke. Perfect.
He’s back 🎊 🎉. I could watch videos of your amazing welds and the projects you spit out of Mad Max (that’s what I call your shop). If you ever have some spare time I’m sure more then just me would like to see how they have the power supply for your setup. I think that’s a great fucking idea. Talk about mobile fabricator lol you can literally pull up on them with a full fab shop
I be welding aluminum right now with my tig all day if I could afford the 500$ to fill my outside tank & +shipping my argon here. It's not price though stopping things, no no no! no one has it to ship here either even remotely locally now...... Sigh use to be 250$ fill my tank and 50$ ship my god sad times for my beautiful country, that has been pile drived into the ground 😢
Your welding is beautiful. I can watch it over and over. I will NEVER be this good. By the way, change the capacitor on your belt sander. Maybe go ine size up from the existing one. It will kick in to life without you having to help it start.
Very nice job whatever it is. I have a tig button and have recommended it to several people. I also made a slim tig button holder that fits the CK torch with carbon fiber PETG 3d printer. Thanks for the video.
Been watching you for years now. I have learned so much (or nothing, lol), thank you. However, never ever seen you welding thin-to-thin aluminium. That's quite common task that I have in my yard - to weld an aluminium based frame out of thin square/round tubes. Any chance you could show us how to weld 1mm to 1mm thin aluminium? And perhaps in a manner where you cut a profile into 2 pieces and then weld it back together. I find it extremely challenging. All the best.
hello. Just L or U profile, mine were 1mm thick with 30mm width. Thank you a million! The hardest thing is to weld it if cut at 45 degree angle. I tried posting an image here, but it gets deleted. I'll try to put it into next comment.
Hey, you welding freak of nature.. I have a question. I have a subscription to your videos and I am learning so much. For someone like me, it would be so cool if there was an editing software you could use to (Flip, invert???) the videos so that a non-southpaw could get even more benefit from you. Basically make the video look like a right handed person was welding. Just a thought : )
Excellent work and beautiful nature! Interesting history about the dredging and the salmon. What is the black sooty stuff when you were tacking the handle on? I’m just getting started with TIG welding and have yet to try aluminum. I’m just curious.
Contamination...he accidentally dipped some filler on to his tungsten. You see a green flash when this happens. Clean up the soot, grind the tungsten and back to work
Hi Chad, I have a Yeswelder 250P and they don’t make the Tig button for my welder either. But I built my own custom Tig pedal so I learned all about what the welder needs for a signal. They are very simple inside and basically have two wires for switch to begin the arc and three wires that go to a potentiometer. That’s it! I purchased a Tig button for the AHP and re-wired the plug to match my Yeswelder Tig because the AHP and Yeswelder both use a 10k potentiometer. The good news is that almost every Chinese Tig that I’ve reviewed on my channel uses a 10k potentiometer with a 5 pin plug. If you opened up your pedal for the Weldpro I’ll bet it uses a 10k potentiometer. If it does, let me know and I can walk you through the process of how to wire it up if you really want a Tig button. I can assure you that it will change your whole world once you get used to welding with it. 😁👍
@@PranaTech hi mate, just reading through the comments and notices you were able to make the tig button work for your welder...I also have the same problem that they don't make the tig button for my welder...my foot pedal has a potentiometer and basically varies the 10.8v down to 1 or 2 volts...any ideas how I can adapt the tig button to my machine?
