Hello, thanks you for your inquiry. The weld is waterproof depending on the material and construction. If you use thermoplastic coated fabric that is air and/or waterproof. Also if you use membranes that are made with thermoplastics. Best regards Weldy Team

The foiler is mainly used for straight weld seams such as banners and lorry tarpaulins. It is not suitable for 3D applications.

Hi John, Unfortunately not, as acrylic is not a thermoplastic material.For this application you need a thermobonding tape.
