Massive disrespect to Sligo and there fans In this video! A proud community run club which had 4500 fans at that game last night fully sold out! Could have easily had 6/7 thousand fans there if it wasn’t for lack of seats! Not bad for a town with under 20,000 people ! And the Scottish league isn’t all high and mighty unless Celtic or rangers are in town Scottish teams do not fill there grounds, take Celtic and rangers out of that league and it’s the same level as the league of Ireland!

Once again, another Scottish football channel underestimating European clubs! Sure, Sligo did not have a big European footprint, that's because other Irish clubs have qualified for Europe more, specifically talking about over the last 15 years. Sligo are not a bad team, however not a team I support but I do support an Irish team. Outside of Celtic and Rangers, Shamrock Rovers, Derry City, Dundalk, St Patricks athletics, Bohemians would all find themselves comfortable in the Scottish Premier League.

Said it on the first leg video and I'll say it again, Scottish football's biggest problem is delusion about their place in the game. Yes, Motherwell were shite but the idea that any Scottish side apart from the old firm could turn up against a league of Ireland side, with fuck all preseason, and batter them is ridiculous. Most Sligo Rovers fans were happy to draw Motherwell as we knew it gave us a decent chance to get through. That's three wins in a row for Irish sides against Scottish ones in Europe now, it's not an aberration, it's reality.

Motherwell are lucky they did not play Shamrock Rovers, it would have been 7 nil on agg, I am not a Shams fan but they are the best in league at the moment. I am a Sligo fan and we have a proud history and play good football. You were very disrespectful to the Irish league, I guess Motherwell had the same mindset, now they are out.

I expected Sligo to beat Motherwell. Im a Celtic/Bohemian FC fan I watch both leagues follow all the games there is not much difference in quality. These teams are capable of catching Celtic or rangers out if they are off their games.

The LOI is getting stronger because lads are staying in under age leagues and breaking into Senior teams at 18 upwards. The top players are going onto the UK but lads who would have been cast aside from UK academies who would have dropped down the leagues or quit the game are staying here and playing. Scottish Clubs wouldn't take LoI clubs for granted in future
