this is gonna be up there with Without A Whisper for one of the best night drive songs I’ve ever heard

I think Marcus cleans come out sooo much better when he is more on the relaxed side than putting too much emphasis and power on his voice. I think that is the biggest step for me in this song

Favorite track off of Heavener is Void Surfacing. The outro groove with their signature ambient guitar melodies hits HARD 🤘

This feels like an album finish

Without a whisper is one of the best metaltracks i've ever heard. Such profound emotion poured into a honest and a hard-hitting song.

Another amazing track from IA. Seeing that everyone favorite's track is different show how amazing album is. Every track was carefully written with background behind. If I need to choose one it's False Meridian. Still AOTY since March and this track confirmed that they deserve it for me. IA forever.

Even though I usually prefer their heavier stuff, my favourite Heavener track is probably Without a Whisper. Nearly cried when I finally got to see it live in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago.

This song is so good and emotive i was blown away by every second of this song, i totally agree with their earlier stuff being good but never really hooked me that much but from the Sun Sleeps EP and Heavener these guys have crept their way up to being one of if not my favorite metalcore band in the scene and this song is just proof of that, was a little nervous since Heaver the album was so amazing i was afraid of the hype not living up but man they passed my expectations with this song, amazing songwriting. ALSO favorite song on Heavener to me is Emberglow, the almost positive chord progression throughout and Marcus' cleans throughout just make me feel some type of way, IMO its a great example of having a pretty riffy song that uses the riffs that fit greatly within the bigger picture of the song and i love every song on the album but Emberglow is just amazing, i just wish it was the closing track. PS: the cut looking FRESHHHHH

False Meridian is one I always go back to. But I adore this album as a whole!

Bridge/outro might be my favorite riff ever. Keaton and Jesse Cash will always be at the top of the metalcore guitar game, and I think this just set a new high.

this is a little random, but a few days ago i met caleb's (the bassist) roommate at a random motorcycle meet. i commented on his invent animate shirt saying how i loved it and he responded saying invent animates merch was most of his wardrobe because caleb would give him random merch when he comes home from tour. that made my day.

Heavener is a fantastic album from start to finish. But I’ll have to say false meridian is my favorite song off the album. That breakdown just hits different.

This track is phenomenal, I was worried about how they were going to top Heavener well, they kind of did with Heavener (single) For now their album is stil AOTY for me especially after listening to this new single. My favourite is hard to pick cause there are too much solid tracks haha False Meridian got the best open breakdown to me but without a whisper is the one I ve been listening to a lot

Had a great day today and this only made it better. Album of the year and an amazing title track to match what was a 10/10 album. This song is so good and on par with the rest of the album.

Honestly, My favorite song is between Labyrinthine and Elysium, think I'm gonna have to give Elysium the W though, those tapping leads are SO tastefully done. This new song is already right up there with Elysium. Edit: This has now passed Elysium for me. I literally cannot stop listening at all.

Favourite track from the album jumps between Without A Whisper (for obvious reasons) and Void Surfacing for that monstrous outto. Really like the new track. Just adds to an already perfect album.

I can't narrow it down to just one track from Heavener, but if I had to choose 3 I'd go with Without A Whisper, Immolation Of Night and Emberglow. Those 3 songs really stood out in different ways to me! The album definitely has no skippable teacks, but those 3 get me every time!

I remember when IA released Wolf Skin back in the day, and touching base with them between Everchanger and Stillworld until Greyview came out. Greyview was an album that I could not stop playing for the life of me for a LONG time, and thought that was their magnum opus. To this day, it is in my top 5 albums. Then came The Sun Sleeps, then the Shade Astray single, and both kept me wanting more for so long. I did not think that Heavener was going to scratch that itch as the singles came out independently, but hearing it in full, especially on a good system and taking it all in, this album is without a doubt the BEST work they have ever done. full send, first ballot AOTY. Can't get enough of it, it can't get any better. Then this comes out, and I didn't really get a good listen to it at first and left it alone for a bit. Saw an interview about this song earlier, noting that Marcus pretty much constructed this entire song on his own from a completely different demo they had floating around from the Bad Omens tour this spring, so I had to give it a listen. It's been on repeat ever since. It's been a very long time since a title track fully encompassed an entire album in a span of a few moments like this one has, and I would go out on a limb to say they made a mistake releasing the album without including this song to close the album out. The ultimate climax to an already "Dark Side Of The Moon-esque" album. Between Monarch, Luna, Purity Weeps, Elysium, and Hollow Light, I already couldn't pick a favorite IA song, but this title track just made it even harder to pick. Bravo, IA.

Without a Whisper is still my fave off Heavener but this is a beauty 8.5 already. The guys are taking me to Heaven and beyond with these beautiful tracks.

picking a favourite track off Heavener is an exceedingly difficult task. I like a whole bunch of them for different reasons like False Meridian for being a relentlessly heavy track or Without A Whisper for a slower more emotional vibe. If I had to pick one, i would tentatively say Without A Whisper still though

I have given these guys so many chances and everything else is so clean and pristine but for some reason I just can't get past this guys voice. Whether its buried in the mix or just not weighty enough to carry the rest of what it does, I have given Heavener a few listens but unfortunately it just never clicked for me. Really wish I was into it.
