It took me SIX YEARS to get Joc Pederson to sign my 9,000th baseball, but it only took ONE DAY for me to track down Colorado Rockies pitcher José Ureña. And guess what? It'll only take you ONE CLICK to save money on tickets . . .

As for Ureña, he had tossed this milestone ball to me the night before, so of course I brought it with me to this game. I was so determined to get it signed that I sacrificed the final portion of batting practice in the outfield in order to camp out in foul territory and try to get his attention when he came off the field.
Batting practice, as it turned out, was a disaster for me. I got ZERO baseballs but thankfully found a way to get on the board later on, and then during the game, I sat in the exclusive Chophouse section in right field. Huge thanks to my friends Jess and Ben for hooking up the tickets there. Wanna see the two "Watch With Zack" videos that I've done with Ben? Here you go:
• Helping a 12-year-old ...
• These women got SOOOOO...
You know who else deserves a shoutout? Starting pitcher Spencer Strider who set an Atlanta Braves record for most strikeouts in one game.
Oh! And if you like the shirts that Chip and I were wearing, check out my merch!
