I've been following you for a few years and I always wait for the next upload simply because your the only person that's all about fishing and fishing only you not worried about who sponsored your video or promoting some product or products it's literally about the fishing only 🎉❤ please don't change who you are
That must be what keeps me coming back. I honestly had not noticed that, but I have stopped watching many large tubers because they got massive money coming in and still try and sell you stuff. Edit: I would think youtube would be anti promotional adds that they don't post. It breaks the value of their premium service. People pay for no adds, only to be hit a few times a video... "now on to our sponsors"... I kinda understand when it's a smaller channel, but giants do it the most and I dislike it greatly.
I know of like 3 other RU-vidrs that are all about fishing brother. You need to expand your horizons!! Definitely not as good as editing but they are still banger vids
I have been a long time subscriber and I really like how enthusiastic you are. The care you put into these wonderful videos is obvious and just the right amount of nature shots. Am I the only one who feels for the blue gills, how quickly they go from goody lunch to oops am lunch.
@danielhopkins1122 because he does a good job with the overall production and has a likeable personality. Only a few of the bigger channels are more diverse, having access to boats and the ability to travel
@@daviddiehl-gy2sq That Army Corp Officer tells Nick your fishing pole is 2 inches away from the Yellow post! For real dude? He's gonna beef over 2 inches and he actually almost visually measured it! That's just insane! Counting not footage in feet but 2 inches?? 🤬
@Meditation409 and yet there isn't anything keeping him from casting his line well past the markers. If I remember, those markers are for boaters not to go past because of the currents.
@@Meditation409 You're missing the point. The officer was being nice by saying "a couple inches". He really means back the f*ck up and make it more obvious that you're not going to fish near the line.
@@TorryMB small pp flex from someone that wanted to write something in a report. The "do me a personal courtesy" during professional duties from their lack of understanding is poor form. Officer is not doing this for himself he's getting paid and doing a job.
nice job! i was worried about you, you handled the lawman very well and im sure he is not used to that. this is why i watch you your a real person and it shows. now dang it get that big blue i can't wait LonnieRay
At least you ACE encounter went good, though he had the personality of stale bread 🤣. Sad about the paddle fish also, very prehistoric. Rock on Nick 🤘😎
I don’t think they were complaining about him. I think the officer just wanted to ask him to move back a bit since the other folks were within the restricted area and got tickets and he was right at the line. Unless I missed something.
Im from Illinois and can remember when he only had a few hundred followers and now he just passed 600k. I love it. If you are reading this try to make a trip to the southern most part of Illinois and make a video. That would be awesome!
@tomgilberg8038 bs. You think a catfish ia gonna quit living like a catfish becaue they were in an aquarium? Lmfao. How does people take catfish and out them in ponds when they outgrow aquariums then.
@@wakingforbacon6439 they do grow to the size of the tank. you can keep them in there, which is wrong to the fish, or release them into native flathead waters, or just eat them when they are head to tail as long as the tank.
Not getting a ticket either way is a W, guy was respectful and nice, it could have gone the opposite way and just said your over the line and ticketed you, very nice of that dude to just ask you to move.
@@texcav5458 and none the less he hadn’t broken any rules. It’s nitpicking. Would you want cops pulling you over and giving you warnings for doing 55.9 miles an hour?
Idk how well it works but I've seen people make catfish bait from raw hotdogs, diced garlic and kool aid cherry or some other red flavor. I'm on the east coast and chicken livers or chicken hearts also work for catfish. Hearts stay on the hook a little better. Good luck on your 100lb quest
Awesome video as always Nick Thursdays are awesome because we always have your videos to look forward to watching hope you go back to the pond of giants soon
Thanks for your time, try the catfish rig that uses a float to keep bait off the bottom, mite help with tackle loss, I think your 100lb fish will happen in the next 4 episodes, predictions on a 116lb blue cat
Congratulations on 600k from 618 also, Southeastern IL. Grew up a mile from the ohio river and still live 5 miles from it! I go catfishing when I can Love it. Goodluck fishing brother!
I always get a kick out of your videos, Nick. I sometimes have the most fun figuring out where you are from the aerial footage and other visual clues since I live in the 618 too. This one was tricky, but I got it. ;)
If your going for that triple you ever think about getting out at night after dark for a few videos? I like your videos I live in North Dakota and we have a paddlefish or spoonbill snagging season ive got many over 60 pounds and one well over a 100. I used to like the snag and release days would get servel a day. Great job and good luck. Good luck to all that read this also!
Land of the free but you better move that rod or you will get a ticket lol I gotta love that but at least you got to get out and do some fishing and caught some fish too as allways a great episode
I don't recall those yellow poles the one time I went out there. I guess they are new. It's unfortunate about that paddlefish though. He was a nice one.
Trying using 3 way rigs when fishing spillways like that. I have better luck keeping the bait off the bottom and loose less tackle, except for weights.
Where are you at? It's so hard to fish AZ during the summer 😭😭 I always pay for a 1 year license and only use 9 months of it because the heat is ridiculous. I'm personally driving up north this weekend to do 3 or 4 days of fishing in Payson
I love every video you make and thank you for sharing. Seriously enjoyable. I lost my father a few years ago and he was an avid fisherman. He enticed me to go to Canada (Lake of the woods) and I never caught so many fish in my life. Love, love your videos. My Dad would love to see every video you make and I smile in his memory every time I see your awesome videos. Thank you! Regards. Troy.
Can you keep paddlefish in that area? You should take the head and have it cleaned by beatles. They are so cool looking. I caught a 90# on the Missouri River and had the head cleaned.
That flathead was beautiful, might have been small for its species, but I would have been stoked with a fish that cool looking. The blue kitty was a solid fish and nice looking. Sucks those peole decided ro snitch and "report" you just because rhey must have been in obvious violation to get issued citations. You were skirting the posted area, bur you werent actually breaching it. Some people just want to see others go down with them.
Guy who approached you handled it well. He wasn't going to force the issue, but asked for the courtesy of moving over to discourage others from breaking the rules. Good guy.
That flat head was needed more air time it was freaking beautiful. I'm a catfish lover. I'm hoping you catch that 100lber + by the end of this year. You are making me want to come to the USA to do a spot of catfish fishing
Hi Nick were you not fishing for the big blues right after the spawn ,When you had the best luck? That's when I have had the best luck for lunkers. Time after time. Then the fall right before the super cold weather, When they like to dig down in the mud .I know all places are not the same.Great day fishing ,Nice blue ,Oh the flathead wow the colors great. Thank you nick for another great day fishing.❤
I love watching your videos, well produced, videography is incredible. You have a true passion for fishing and get excited catching any species of fish no matter how big. Keep up the good entertainment.
COE are rangers. I meet them all the time fishing the two lakes (reservoirs) here in North Central Arkansas. They have all been great, pointing out spots and what others have been using to catch fish with. COE has a policy of no access within 100 yards of a dam. They've been busy getting that posted. My guess is that's its both a safety and security issue.
Someone Snitched ...smh #MiseryLovinCompany Im sure they were waaay past the Markers...Good on you Nick! #BlessingsLoveLightChristandNOTickets...lol #Ivish Crappie said "What am I??? Chopped Liver?!!!..lmao #FlatHead #618Fishing
That blue catfish getting snagged was what I ran into the other day. I was snagging in the shallows and as I was trying to pull out of the rocks a Musky hit the bait, unfortunately I thought I hit another rock and as I jerked the line, he broke the surface and threw the lure right back at me, Maybe I would have reacted differently if it wasn’t the first cast of the day and I was checking out the area. Great video, definitely makes me want to go back out and fish
3 fishes MOLTO BELLI .Black flathead I really liked the colors . The spoon bill.... what a creature ! Blue Catfish is the most "elegant " in his species .Thank you , as always .
Nick bro I know u like trying new baits...theres this stuff called pro line baits comes in monster blue crab, eel blood, natural shad and worm u put it on chicken these cats round here love it...
Always a good video like always. I was used to fishing areas like you fish in my home state of West Virginia but now I live in the Florida panhandle and fishing is on a whole different level. I love your channel. Keep doing what your doing. It is awesome
Respect is the bottom line that guy gave you his you gave him yours now you know how things work at that spillway get back to catchin!!! Gotta love the bell!! Paddlefish are only snagged they are filter feeders they get pretty big shame that little fella had passed on but he'll feed the food chain
Hey I’m a big fan of your channel I have been watching you for three years do you think one day I could go fishing with you to catch my on catfish is 26 pounds
I've always had my best luck catching catfish after dark. My favorite catfish bait when river fishing is shad guts. Only problem I've ever had using them is catching turtles instead of catfish.
I hate this kind of enforcement! You were 100% legal. If they need you 2-3 inches farther down, then place the line 2-3 inches down! Just freaking petty!
