I had a psychiatrist tell me I dont have ADHD because I didnt have it as a kid. It was so invalidating. I told my physician about it and she put me on 150 mg of wellbutrin. It has changed my life. I am meeting my metrics at work, participating in tasks at home more, and losing my phone way less. I used to lose it more than 5 times a day. Now I only lose it once a day. Thank you for your videos they have validated my experience. I appreciate you.

@@footballguruhighlights6276 I started feeling the effects of it right away. i did have funky brain feelings the first week but nothing too notable. im on 300mg a day now. and im very happy with the results. its such a subtle change but so positive it makes a difference

@@footballguruhighlights6276I’m not who you asked your question to, but I was in a similar situation and it was literally a night and day difference to me. Like someone flipped on a light and turned the distracting thought volume to Mute. I’m on month 2 and I wish I had done this sooner.

Adderall was like not being able to see and putting on glasses, Welbutrin has been like making the glasses even sharper. /the two medicatons are working very well together. I had to get used to the Wellbutrin though but now I can tell that it helps. My PA said that means that my depression was due to my ADHD which I didn't know was the cause of everything in my life until I was 61 years old. Yes, I know, I'm understanding myself better at this age. Count yourself blessed you're knowing this early.

I just started Bupropion and hope it helps me. For the longest, I have suffered a literally paralyzing depression. I was diagnosed as Bipolar 2 and prescribed Lamotrigine, which did nothing for me; I question the bipolar diagnosis, actually. I’ve sought treatment for my ADHD for years now without any improvement. I’m encouraged by your video and hope Bupropion will set me on the right path.

After slowly titrating up to 200 mg of Lamotrigine over 6 months with no improvement, I finally decided to come off of it (and mind you, I thought I was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder in the first place). Due to my hypertension, I was given the non-stimulant Bupropion to try for my ADHD. Long story short, it didn’t help me. I was supposed to take 40 mg twice a day. My job is high-stressed, making it nearly impossible to remember to stop and take a second pill in the middle of the day-and my nurse practitioner said I couldn’t take the 80 mg all at once and that if I took the second pill later in the evening it might disrupt my sleep. Today is actually monumental for me-I’m getting ready to take my very first stimulant medication, 10 mg of generic Vyvanse. After everything I’ve been through, at least I can say I finally started a stimulant. If this doesn’t work, there are other stimulants I can try, and if stimulants don’t work, then I’m still not giving up-there are still adaptogenic herbs I can try.

Thanks for sharing, gorgeous. My psych prescribed me 150mg Wellbutrin today and I’ve been anxious ever since. A part of me was afraid she had giving me some unnamed placebo, or just something that would have no effect. I can’t explain why, but those are the thoughts that were running through my head. Not to mention it’s an anti depressant which is certainly not my primary interest I only wanted help with focusing. It’s comforting to hear you were also advised 150mg Wellbutrin for your adhd. Maybe my psych was onto something lol 😊

I'm on 300 mg XL and honestly it works great. Just be careful with caffeine. Wellbutrin will intensify the moderate stimulant effects of caffeine and you'll be too wired/cracked-out if you're not cautious but with proper dosage caffeine is a great boost with Welly when you need it.

The first two weeks I struggled with side effects (hair loss, headaches, dizziness, nausea, etc.). There is some improvement, although some days (2-3x per week) are still really hard. Headaches and fatigue continue to be existing side effects. My psychiatrist has recommended that I increase the dose to 300mg. What is your opinion? I am a little worried that I will be completely denied access to my feelings and more intense side effects will occur.

I just got this med. Switched to it because my previous antidepressant (Which worked amazing) was causing uncontrolled weight gain. I couldn't stand that anymore but felt I still needed an antidepressant. So the doctor switched me to Wellbutrin 150mg XL for the depression, weight issues and to help me stop vaping. I do have ADHD and was diagnosed as a kid. Currently on Ritalin 30mg LA for that. So far about 4 days in and I feel like my focus is more intense then just the Ritalin alone. It seems almost too much? Such as if I double my Ritalin dose (Which doesn't actually affect me this much). It's almost like I'll notice that I get focused onto something random such as a thought and have been thinking on it or staring at it for minutes. Also makes me a bit worried to drive because of that. Hopefully it levels out some as I get used to the new med.

Happily looking forward to hearing an update from you on this! I‘ve just been prescribes Wellbutrin 150mg for ADHD, whilst I take Elvanse about 5-10mg a day which helps very good actually, so I‘m unsure if I should stick to an antidepressant. Since I’m also kinda worried that in case I decide to stop taking it, I‘ll have the same experience as you did stoping to take 300mg

Been on 150 xl for a month now. No changes at all with mood or focus. Going to try 300. Only side effect I've gotten so far was racing heart and insomia on the 6th day and nothing else. Can you give us an update video on your Wellbutrin?

how is it? i am so afraid to take it.... it's here on my desk for a couple of weeks.. i took ADHD-stimulants (vyvanse for a long time) but i am depressed and feeling lazy, doubting a lot, restless inside my head....) I am afraid of getting hypomanic/psychotic symptoms..... I hate the internet, it's full of negative comments and tons of side effects... it's bad for a person with depression and anxiety problems...

Hi! I am looking to start wellbutrin for adhd very soon, Ive heard great things. My main concern is that Ive seen complaints from creatives that they felt it dampened their creativity :( Do you have any input on that ! :)?

Hi! I’ve taken 150mg all the way up to 450mg before and I don’t feel like it impacted my creativity too much. My ADHD does tho. When I’m not taking anything there’s a bunch that I want to do but can’t focus long enough to actually do it. I know the fear tho. Im in the middle of writing my second novel and when I got back on 150mg my writing picked up again! I hope this helps!

I’m currently taking Wellbutrin SR 1-150 mg morning and another 1-150 mg evening = 300 mg. Been on it for over a year now and my executive functions are terrible. Big time procrastination, forgetfulness, not focused …. I have anxiety/ADHD, and it really hasn’t done much for me, maybe at first some, but not as much as I can remember.

Stop taking lexapro take instead serotonin antagonist like ketitofen and cyproheptamine that will fix cortisol and anxiety!

I'm on it. My creativity is stiffled. It helped me in the beginning. Helps with depression that I can vouch for. Only issue is I'm not motivated to work and create or even study. So I added Ritalin to it

I had one of the worst experiences with medication with Wellbutrin in my life. The side effects turned my life into a living hell. Thank god I'm off of it now. I'd rather suffer from ADHD my entire life than go through this again.

@@wemusthavechannelstocommen619 severe hunger, sex drive went straight to zero in the worst form possible - instead of arousal I got insane headaches, inadequate anger and aggression, like I was seconds away from punching people for nothing which obviously isn't normal for me, I felt very jittery all the time, at the very end I experienced nausea and heartaches. On the good side it made it very easy to get up in the morning but it's kinda hard to appreciate that when you get all the other stuff mentioned above.

@@iEhabz Although if you just started it's better for you not to know, otherwise you are kinda priming yourself to failure. Wellbutrin helps most people just not everyone.

Hi, im from germany and Im getting Ritalin (30mg) a day, the long lasting version Medikinet adult, and taking this stuff for 2 years now. In our country, adderall is not allowed for adhd treatment…… its pretty sad because i would like to know how it works for me. I got some bupropion now for anti smoking and trying it out now.But i could recommend you to try some low dosage of ritalin for adhd treatment as well. Greetings from munich. 😄

Especially the combination of ritalin and bupropion could be really interesting for you. Its a way lower stimulant than adderall.

Have you tried working out and change of diet. I have it all ADHD depression and more.. We are alot alike and it works for me.. Not 100% but it helps alot. Vitiam B1 B complex Omega 3 Vit D3 , magnesium citrate. Clean diet fresh Veggys and fruit.. I still suffer but its a lot better.
