(CDI) of Phoenix, Maryland, USA (acting as Implosion Subcontractor to Main Demolition Contractor, Jackson Demolition Services, Inc., of Schenectady, New York) performs the successful explosives felling of the 12-story, reinforced concrete Wellington Hotel Annex in Albany, New York at 9:35 AM on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Per the request of the Project Developer, Columbia Development Companies of Albany, New York, CDI’s implosion operations were performed in conjunction with an in-building pyrotechnics display designed and implemented by Fireworks by Grucci, Inc. of Bellport, New York.
