Well to be fair, he had to remember 2 hours of script by heart. I guess because he is well trained in theater he can probably just give it a quick read and then learns it automatically by heart. But yeah it is actually refreshing to see a celebrity not constantly looking at the cue card and therefore looking dead eyed in the scene.

They not only had to apologize for Barron, the writer who tweeted that snarky joke about him wound up getting sacked. Which was a bit extreme....but I believe that harsh measures did need to be taken in this case. SNL is well aware of their audience reach and frankly, it doesn't matter how you feel about Donald. You don't take out your ire on an innocent 10-year-old.
