Linda Yu, longtime fixture at ABC 7 Chicago retired on November 30th, 2016. She spent more than 32 years at WLS-TV, after a few years at rival WMAQ (NBC 5). The 4pm newscast she helmed for 32 years never fell out of first place, and its stability is one of the key reasons for the station's three decades of dominance. Presented here are the highlights of her final 4pm newscast, alongside co-anchor Rob Elgas, reporter Paul Meincke, meteorologist Cheryl Scott, sports anchor Jim Rose (who spent 29 years with Yu in this time slot), and successor Judy Hsu.
