Shocking isn’t it...no idea of the history of the country and the rivalry with the English. No emotion from these two, I can’t help but shed a tear when I hear this great anthem sung by thousands of Welsh people.

I am from New Zealand and I love the ALL BLACKS but back in my day I don't know what was better the haka or the whole welsh crowd singing there national athen. I believe all welsh people can sing.

Well thats why teams sing national anthems in matches... in 1905 when New Zealand came to Wales and performed the haka... Wales answered back with Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau which then replaced God bless the prince of Wales and made every team sing.

Yeah, she does. Really makes herself look a bit dim and just not capable of appreciating anything beyond her own bubble. It's a little bit sad. Like that one kid, you take to the zoo but just scans past everything as fast as they can just to get to the souvenir shop.

Their timing is impeccable. When the crowds of any other nation sing their national anthem some often speed up ahead of the lyrics of the song whereas some sing on time creating an absolute mess, whereas the vast majority here are getting the timing of the lyrics absolutely spot on. It’s like hearing a 70,000 person choir

Wow is like you watched and didn't listen. I'm an Englishman and I love right and I watched that live and knew we couldn't win. I think the USA should bring their rugby team over hear and then we can judge which anthem is the best. Mind you it's hard to get a stadium of six to sing or chant unless the DJ tells you to so fair play to you. Every year an American team wins the world series where none of the world actually bothers and plays real sport with actual fans and actually have to compete against other countries. Well done on holding up the American stereotype.

They can hear the stadium sing a couple of miles away. And rugby is the religion, so the anthem has the same religious quality. It really moves and fires the heart of every Welsh person

At most 3 million Welsh and 45 million English, so to beat the English means so much to Wales. That was at the Welsh capital, Cardiff. You can hear the sound of the crowd 2 even 3 miles away. Rugby is a religion :)

The Welsh anthem is sung by thousands if not millions ar events like this the best is the train ride into the valleys after a game the entire train is up and singing this they also sing alot of Tom Jones to it makes me so proud to be welsh

The Welsh Flag is the oldest National flag still in use after 1,000 years. The English flag of the same era was the White Dragon.

They don't understand. How can they? The American anthem is played at EVERY sporting occasion. It has probably lost its meaning, its ability to bring people together within a common identity, in a patriotic way. It's overuse has diluted whatever power it may once have conveyed. It's not their fault that they can't grasp the emotions a hymn like the Welsh anthem can release in people of a common heritage. They don't know that some anthems can do that.

May i say Da lawn (well done) for knowing in rugby even though England got a cheap penalty for 3 points that the game was a shut out. I don't know if it makes a difference to how impressive you find this. But the tournement was the 6 nations 5 games win all 5 not only are you champions but grandslam champs. Wales had done just that in 2012, the 2013 championship, Wales lost game n1 to Ireland England won the opening 4 games win this they were grand slam champions in wales yard, they could lose amd be champions to but if Wales won by 16 or more points they not only kept the grand slam from England they would steal the title. We won 3 grand slams in 8 years but this is still the best win of my life (imagine Lakers stealing a win from the Celtics having trailed 0-3)

Wales is my homeland and I'm Welsh to the core. I know because I've researched my Family Tree back to 1790. What troubles me within ancestry or anything else American is that the vast majority of you ALL Americans refer to us as English. NO WE ARE NOT in anyway shape or form. There are 4 nations within the U.K.; BRITISH ISLES. The Welsh language is more than 1 mellium old B.C. Followed by Irish, Follwed by Scottish. And English develped thhrough the Anglo Saxon who comprised German / French and Danish man y years A.D.
