I love my T17, best light I've ever had. I wish they did a version of T17 with even higher candela 50-70k~ but the same lumen. I would buy it! The T17 really is like a tank. And the best? It does not get HOT, only warm!
My favorite flashlights were always surefire because they're American made and I'm in America. And I always heard people saying you can get better flashlights that are brighter and cheaper. And since i've been watching your videos for the last month and a half I have purchased like four weltool flashlights And they are now my favorite brand as well 🤙
I bought T12 based on your review. I was certain I was going to run it on program A though but in practice program B is much better. You were absolutely right and this has spoiled any other tactical UI for me.
He man, Question. I'm going on a trip to south-africa where i'm gonna do a lot of traveling on footh. I have a fenix PD36Tac now, but i really need more throw to see animals coming. It needs to be a compact light that has both throw and broad view. Do you have any advise for me. Thanks.
My first weltool is the T12 in the 5000k neutral white. The evolution of my understanding of how lights actually work was thanks in large part to this channel.
@07freshkid70 I actually have the Warrior X4 as well. They are similar lights in size and weight. The X4 has a higher lumen output at 2600 on turbo and is easier to recharge. The T12 in 5000k at least has better throw, a more robust UI, and even at a little under 2k lumens is just as bright, but since it has a warmer beam, it doesn't wash out closer objects.
@acisner1 you are a life saver! So with all that in mind, would you say it's a good purchase or too similar and I should consider something else. I'm torn on getting the T12 but if its too similar and not much of a difference, I am more inclined on getting the W2
@07freshkid70 I would say get both, but I have a flashlight problem. I will say the W2 is going to be a very different light than the X4. The W2 is an LEP with spill, and the dimensions are much more pocketable. It is a single output light, however, so if you truly want a no-nonsense single application light, it is the way to go. The adaptability of the T12 is handy if you are only going to carry one light for everything. If you want to see something really different, check out the weltool M8.
