Have this flashlight, very easy to concealed and use for self defence with tactical pen. One cons is lack of low battery warning , could be nice to have lole in T2 tac
This same one for me has a flower looking bleed around the beam. Not sure if it’s defect or they changed something. Also, it warms up pretty quick on high and then hot.. just got it today.
Never heard of Weltool until a month or so ago. TAC-series seem to be exactly what I'm looking for at the moment - single-mode self-defence light. Wanted to buy T2 TAC, but they are sold out everywhere at the moment, so ordered T1 TAC from AliExpress; should arrive in 3 weeks or so. At the moment closest to a tactical self-defence light I have is Olight Warrior Mini 2 (customized with 5000K SST-40) and Wurkkos TD03 (500K SFT40). Mostly used against 4-legged animals and as mid-range outdoor lights. Also 18650 "tube" lights are my preference for the light form factor^ and most "tactical" ligths have moved to 21700 nowadays. I have couple of 21700 lights and there's no way I'm carrying this on a daily basis! Mostly use floody lights for EDC and T1 TAC should be a nice companion when needed. Would love to see short vid with beam comparison between T1 TAC and T2 TAC. +1 subscriber )
Hello, I have a question. I'm now getting to know all the different flashlight options, I didn't imagine there were so many brands, I preferred to buy a North American brand, but when I saw that both Streamlight and Surefire make flashlights that don't seem to innovate as much and aren't extremely modest in terms of lumens and candelas I'm interested in Chinese brands. Like everyone else, I like to buy products that last a long time, in your experience which brands last the longest without showing defects? Which flashlights from which brands have you used for years and have not failed.
@@flashlightcrazy The only problem is that, like the other person in the comments, Weltool doesn't sell it here where I live. The options I have, I saw just now are Fenix, Olight and Nitecore.
@@akilarodrigues7065 Out of these three I would take the fenix every time. Excellent build quality and reliability!! But this Weltool looks freakin amazing bro!!
Loving your reviews, flashlights building up nicely, just wondering is there a tactical light that has glass breaking beads good throw and can be used as a power bank can't seem to find one any help would be great.(this was my daughters suggestion as a light to carry in the car for emergency)
@akilarodrigues7065 Those 3 are good. I like Nitecore and Fenix a little more than Olight because the high mode last longer. They usually have a high, medium, low. However, the build quality with Olight feels better to me. Almost like Surefire. Lumintop GTA is a good option for a pocket thrower if the Weltool isn't available in your area. The GTA has 550 lumens, 585 meters beam distance. The pocket clip could be better and no momentary, but it can tailstand.
This brand may make quality products, but their service is horrible, as they don't even respond to customer service. I sent an email and a message on their RU-vid channel to find out if they have authorized resale in the country where I live and they simply didn't respond. I imagine what their after-sales must be like.
brother I've only heard good things about their service. I emailed them last week asking about an upcoming release and they replied in 11 hours. Try emailing again
@@cullateral I sent 2 emails and a message on RU-vid, maybe you have another email from them. What I'm thinking is that they don't have resellers here so they don't even bother answering which is wrong anyway.
To be blunt, that's kind of par for the course with Chinese brands. The way it works, it's VERY expensive and challenging to deal with returns and warranties, so most of them sell stuff, say they have a warranty, and just eat the negative reputation instead of dealing with the costs of service. Sending lights back to China isn't cheap, so taking returns, checking them out, processing warranties, etc., that all eats cost. They sell products on the pricepoint, primarily. Chinese brands are kind of a gamble in the sense that, if it works, you're probably fine, but if there's an issue, you're probably going to hate them. A good rule of thumb is to NOT buy them directly, but to buy them from a good retailer in your country with good customer service. Often, it's cost-effective enough to deal with batches of defects from a reseller versus individual units from consumers, as the resellers can send a box of defective units in, so the per item shipping costs are less, and retailers buy enough that you can negotiate on costs. I know no one wants to hear it, and we all want to imagine we can get the performance and service of the U.S. made brands for a fraction of the price, but that's just not how it works. That all being said, I've found Weltool is a noticeable step above other Chinese brands in terms of quality. It's not up there with the U.S. made brands, but it's definitely above the Chinese average. Just buy them from a good retailer, and you should be set, so if something DOES go wrong, you're dealing with the retailer, and not the company directly.
@@SayanGiant The issue is that I don't think the U.S. brands are good, they may be durable, but they also have extremely low specifications in lumens and candela. Just look at Streamlight and Surefire flashlights, there are few that reach 1000 lumens. I don't know of a U.S. brand that is relatively close to the Chinese in specifications.
@@SayanGiant I cant speak for Weltool cause Ive never owned one but I would take a Fenix any day over a Surefire!! Fenix has a 1.5% warranty return rate which is amazing for a china built torch!
