I have same thoughts. I'm wondering why this flashlight is so under powered. It should have better throw than T1 Pro Tac because the bezel is bigger. T7 is like an underpowerd tank. I don't understand the purpose of this flashlight. I'd understand if it would have better throw than T1 Pro Tac. It looks great and it's probably the most durable flashlight in the world.
The specs are terrible on this light. There are at least 10 other 14500 lights that are cheaper built better and way out perform this light. Hard pass for me.
