Though born and bred in Wembley, I haven't walked along this High St since 1964. The wide pavements and the buildings above the shops haven't changed at all. As far as I could see, the only remaining shop is Corel's betting shop opposite Ealing Rd. Interesting to see after only 60 yrs🙂
Check the low standard paving, poor workmanship, uneven and filthy. Check the poor quality of the road surfaces, uneven and cracking. Check the narrow horse and cart routes. Check out the amount of sheer traffic. Check out the noise levels. Check out the street clutter. Check out the lack of any planning involved. Can you imagine this in rush hour? The air pollution from traffic jams? What's it doing to the lungs? High density living and rip off rents. Be aware. Avoid.
What are the crime figures like? What about Dr ug abuse? What's the waiting times to see a physician? What's the emergency departments like, long waits? How much is the rent?
