We all agree here that our upbringing in our church gave us a solid foundation of faith and these songs are very much part of that foundation. I can't forget my childhood sabbath days at Sino SDA church and school, Oh what love and peace! Glory to God for giving us this faith and the parents who guided us.

I do not understand the language though I know that it's Luo, but I feel more part of the singers as they praise the Lord. The kind of Kings ministry melodies, Angaza Singers, Pillars of Faith and many more, I feel blessed with their songs. God should be with you as we continue worshiping him.

I agree with you on embracing hymns. today our church has gone on dancing mode with these self-prepared Kiswahili songs, they are good and also preaching but the dancing that accompanies them is just wicked for me. Otherwise hymns anytime in Dho Luo, English, and Kiswahili; just love listening and singing along.
