i mean, normally the wendy's burgers ketchup , mayo and pickles mix up together to already make this sauce . i don't get the point of this. also, i've never seen a spongebob. i thought it was gonna have crab or krab on it.
I felt so stupid reading about this. All the years I watched SpongeBob, I thought the Krabby Patty was a Crab patty. Like a crab cake without the cake. Should have known it was called that for Mr. Krabb and the restaurant. Realizing the only thing different from a Dave's Single, was the sauce-pass. A barista I was talking with at Starbuck's had it. She thought the sauce was just a tangier Mac sauce. I'm just getting the Frosty. I used to love Wendy's as well, especially the 1/4lb Double-Stack, but the quality has been so bad, I pretty much never go there anymore. What a fail.
Yeah, they really dropped the ball with this one. Like you said, no packaging, no little toy, nothing. A Dave's single with their sad looking fries and a fruity frosty. Big whoop! This would have been so much better as an adult Happy Meal collab with McDonald's...
To me, the Krabby patty sauce tasted like thousand island dressing and was nothing special. The at least could have had SpongeBob themed packaging. Cool review, Papi! 😃😎
I think Wendy's burgers are better than McDonald's though if I get a burger from Wendy's always get the baconator... And McDonald's is crap and if I go to Burger King I always get the Whopper
Wendy's employees ain't tucking in no pickles like that episode of SpongeBob. They can't even tuck in their shirts. Don't sleep on that Pineapple frosty. It's probably one of the best flavors they have come out with. The mango-Pineapple swirl puree is magnificent!
You’re talking about that SpongeBob episode with Bubble Bass! 😂 At 2:53, he says, ‘You forgot the pickles!’ and SpongeBob finds out he’s hiding pickles under his tongue. 👅
I’ve had this burger. It’s just a Dave’s single with a sauce. He is not wrong. Is it good? Sure. Is it anything unique? No. I only am upset because they missed the opportunity of marketing it for kids. Ie: toys, presentation or even just the entire thing being a kids meal instead of a full sized burger.
I tried this yesterday, mine had a bunch of sauce on it and it was very good. it's like a ketchup/Mayo based sauce with maybe a little vinegar & perhaps some liquid smoke in it? Not sure, but it's good. But, I agree, the Spongebob aspect of it is very weak!! Should have had a Spongebob bag, and the wrapper should have some sort of spongebob element to it as well. Total fail. But, I thought the sauce is good, better than just the usual ketchup and mayo. Maybe you need to give it another try during the day at another Wendy's & ask for extra sauce on it. And don't sleep on the Pineapple Frosty, it's pretty good!
Man that's disappointing. I've been looking forward to this for the frosty, i thought i could bribe my neice with the toy but there's not one? Wth kinda collab.. why bother?
Wendy’’s had a salad bar??? I just remember as a bebe when i lived in NM Wendy’s was an actual restaurant type of deal and then now it’s fast food. Cray! SPONGEBOB!!! No fun decor or toys? Boo…
You must have had some special Wendy's there, like Chick Fila's diner location and McD's NY store, because Wendy's has always been fast food since the beginning. However they did indeed have a salad bar, similar to how KFC and Pizza Hut used to be buffet restaurants. But fast food places don't want people inside anymore, they want everyone to use the app and go through the drivethru or use doordash. In my city, McD's won't even serve people inside the store, and if you do go inside and try to speak with them, they won't respond.
