Wendy Williams & Candice Kumai Make Sushi! 

Wendy has always had a big place in my heart- in this video she shocked me by telling me how much she loved my sushi rolls! Sushi was a staple in my Japanese American Household. My Japanese mother taught me how to make it & now I write cookbooks sharing more on my culture. I also loved how Wendy embraced my Japanese culture and propelled me to keep going - because she knew how tough it was for a marginalized NYC gal to make it on her own - and here I am still doing it!
