My great aunt had a thyroid problem and she had the protruding eyes. My God, get her to the proper doctor so she can get help. There is help out there. I’m praying for Wendy.

I know that break up/divorce destroyed her. I’m in the same boat here with 1 year and a half after my break up with my ex fiancé of 10 years and the father of my son and only child, I’m still not over it. I am broken 😢 and I just don’t feel the same. Don’t think the same don’t look the same life is just misery to me right now. I understand her. It just sucks too cuz I’m almost half her age..I’m 36 years old! I shouldn’t be feeling like this …WHENNNN WILL IT GO AWAY, dear lord pls hear my prayers for what WILL fix these feelings of severe depression and anxiety 🙏🏼😩

This is very typical behaviour of someone with beginning dementia and aphasia. It's the frustration of not being able to express yourself, and on top of that the anger that follows when people don't understand what you're saying, when it makes perfect sense in your head. I feel deep sympathy for her and her loved ones. It must be very painful to experience this. Really hope people will receive this with empathy and kindness. It feels wrong to show someone this way that is so clearly suffering..

Why would anyone put her through this public humiliation?

This is actually pretty sad… I take no pleasure in watching her downfall. In her right mind, there would be no way she’d want people to see her in the state she’s in. She’s a proud woman…

Let’s remember that these are real people with real challenges surrounding family industry and struggles with addiction.

This is the boldest definition of GRIEF. I have been there and still have frequent bouts of grief. No one will ever understand what Wendy is going through, like I do and so many others. I, too, cry this hard. These cries come from places and emotions that no other person ever thought existed. I wish I could hug Wendy forever and ever because I wish someone could hug me for a lifetime. Grief hurts, Grief is underrated, and Grief is not taken seriously enough mentally, psychologically, emotionally, and physiologically, especially when. your entire life has been wrapped up in the person you loved unconditionally and wholeheartedly and without question, and all is instantaneously taken from you in one false swoop. No one will ever understand what Wendy is going through because the people that surround her never had to withstand a loss in the capacity that she did. I love you, Wendy, and I feel ALL of your pain.

The people putting this on air should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. Exploiting a broken and dying woman. Yes, I said dying. Wendy appears to be spiritually dead and is obviously physically dying bc of her alcohol abuse. The alcohol is what's causing her dementia and her erratic and terrible behavior. Wendy is also aware (IMO) of how bad she is behaving. Wendy doesn't need this documentary, she needs Jesus. God help her, this is just so sad.

I find it so odd that her son is so nonchalant about the fact that he spent over 100,000 dollars of her money and says “she allowed it” when she probably wasn’t even in her right mind. That’s shady as fuck. He’s clearly using her.

Family and God support is what she needs now. Addiction of any kind is devastating. I pray she gets the help and love she needs right now. ❤

Her son said that the doctor said she has alcohol induced dementia. So very sad. I feel like she should be with her son, dad , brothers and sister

Heartbreaking. The fact that they showed this person who clearly was suffering from dementia is horribly exploitative.

Being rude, mean, ignorant, and condescending, are personality flaws. She behaved that way before the onset of any diseases. That’s wrong.

This reminds me of the hit movie ‘Sunset Blvd’ My Father has mild dementia and Wendy has all the signs. People with dementia are always defensive about losing their independence. Wanting to drink alcohol excessively. Lastly, they think everyone is stealing from them. Praying for her now ❤

This needed to be aired/made. Now everyone can see what is really going on with her. No speculation. She should be with her family. I feel for her. Dementia is heartbreaking.

What viewers are not realizing is that all these disturbing images of Wendy occurred BEFORE April 2023. That is when filming stopped. She’s been in a facility since April 2023, and away from the public. If you think she’s bad “now” (from the documentary, again from Before April 2023); think of what Health she’s in now (March 2024)

My God she is a nightmare. Those poor staff members. I hope they get her help in an inpatient place and keep her there until she is better. Man, that is tough. Prayers for her.

As an alcoholic in recovery, I can relate so much to Wendy. This woman was on top of the world at one time. The sky was her limit. Alcoholics are amazingly resilient creatures, and success and ambition has no boundaries. Are ups tend to be higher than most people. The same is true for our downs though. Even at the peak of her success with her; daytime prime talk show, she was very open about what was happening to her. She didn't sugar coat-project it, lie about, minimize it. She ust came to say one day what was really going on.One would think, after all the gossip and hot topics segments obliterating folks(it was her job) with impunity, she wasn't afraid to come out and say she had relapsed and staying in a sober living facility. Her attimitence to her audience and fans about her struggle was one of the most prolific and inspiring moments on television, for me. It takes a certain amount of bravery and courage most people don't have. When she admitted to everything, she showed the world one doesn't have to be afraid to say "im struggling, im in pain, i need help, it's not my fault, it's a disease called addiction. And she didn't do it because she wanted to be the one to expose herself before some shady news outlet got to the from of the line with the struggle. She did it because her fans love and care for her and se knows that. To inspire people who are suffering while in the midst of her own suffering, to step aside and take a moment to offer her struggle direct from the horses mouth, despite scrutiny and judgement. Relapse is not a failure it's a symptom of a disease known as addiction. It's an addiction for a lifetime. Its one the last things she did on her show before leaving; saying her truth point blank. I know the struggle very well, and I know that before she had to leave she exposed herself becuse she knew it would help people. She shared her truth intending to help people, despite her own suffering she made herself an example of this horrible disease and I believe it saved lives. She was so powerful and reigning true with her show. Even though it's seems to some lik a losing battle, isn't. As long as she still here she is fighting. She has shown so many people how to be tron and humble nd not afraid. So don't be! Don't be afraid to get help. She is my personal hero in that regard. I Love Wendy for life.

I love Wendy and I've seen upclose real alcoholism and it's horrific. I pray for relief for any person struggling with addiction.

This shouldn’t EVER have been released. This is a huge privacy violation. My dad was just diagnosed with this and I’m so sorry for her suffering. I have brain injuries and this made me lose faith in humanity. Not everyone is going to see that she is not even realizing the full extent of her illness and what it impacts. I’ve been in the medical field and she’s not around the right people- they need to court ordered alcohol meetings and inpatient care. Her niece needs to back off too.

She told everyone years ago she lived in a sober living with her sober friends and that she was in recovery from cocaine and booze. Her life was basically going to AA meetings doing her show, and hanging out with her sober friends. She is sadly in full blown relapse. Heartbreaking.

Lets give Wendy a break.. let's take her off the hook, now. She's dealing with something horrible and I just don't think it's appropriate for someone with dementia to be paraded around like this. Enough. It's cruel.

I really don't know why the conservator is not allowing her family to see her if they are doing what is correct with her. They are hiding her from her family because they are NOT caring for Wendy how is she getting alcohol.

Financial abuse is very common towards people who experience mental health challenges! I just pray that Wendy has good genuine people who are sincerely looking out for her best interests!🙏🌹

My daughter was taking psychology about 20 years ago and I was thumbing through her book and at that time i learned that " Alcohol " can and does contribute to " Dementia " I had a conversation with my aunt that like to drink rum and we talked about not knowing this new found information connected to the deterioration of a persons health .

My God this is heartbreaking who ever is in control of her guardianship dn have her best interest at heart my prayers are with her😢❤

Sorry but, this isn’t something people should be exposed to. She’s incredibly bossy, toxic and cruel.

Her life started to spiral down when she found out her husband was having an affair. And subsequently, the divorce. Emotions can really bring you down.

She outed a cancer patient on national tv. Karma babe.

Get the help BAMN. Being a loved one seeing your loved one go through this and then find out that because of the alcohol, one has wet brain or alcohol dementia is scary, heartbreaking and you feel as though you don't know what to do. So, if this story brings attention to alcoholism and what it can do no matter who you are and then there are some around you who are leeches who need to be exposed, I'm okay with this. My prayers go out to Wendy and those around her who love her. Shawn needs to be investigated.

A prominent NY neurologist said it can’t be said that alcohol caused FTD for all you commenting without knowledge. If anything it could be genetic. Alcohol doesn’t help in the way Wendy is using it, but it is not the cause of her diagnosis.

Take it easy on alcoholics and addicts. It's really difficult to stop especially if covering up pain.

10:41 Wendys son Kevin Hunter Jr charged 100K for Uber eats, $120K for his birthday party 100K as a downpayment and $80K monthly for his Florida mansion on her Wells Fargo credit card causing them to freeze her accounts claiming abuse. Kevin Jr is his fathers son and treats Wendy exactly like his father does, w no respect. Her son and ex husband are taking advantage of her, there are many more instances of theft.

She needs family period . No driver , No cameras, no publicity.

Thank goodness i went to rehab, actually 2 bc the 1st one i was kicked out due to relapsing. I was pretty close to this too. Thank goodness i dont drink anymore. No craving. More walking, reading, housework, focus on the positive, not dwell on the negative. 100% no cravings

She’s heartbroken y’all and she took too much drugs drinking all of that. It’s sad to see her this way I don’t ever wish anything bad on anybody because it’s painful to watch her this way I feel so bad for her. I pray God delivered her from this painful moment of her life.
