My mom was born in the south and she always told me... No offence to anyone but racist white ppl could really put on a good front and smile in your face. It wasn't until I graduated high school I found out 85% of the people that I went to school with and hung out with ended up being racist asf. My high school only had like 5 black people. It was a rich school in the suburbs

Okay so before the video even start this is my first time ever coming across this channel. I live in Georgia so especially moving around , you will have to deal with racism. I have learned that honestly everyone wants the same thing if you really think about it don't matter the color or anything everybody want to be loved everybody wants to be okay so want to be rich don't want to be you know Willow but everybody wants to be able to pay their bills without worrying if they have kids or family members they want them to be okay and successful everyone want to live a happy life. No matter what the belief is or their color I never met anyone who just want to be miserable never everyone seems to want the same thing so interested in seeing how this video goes because. a lot of people are going to take the wrong message from this video though and conflate niceness/politeness with "not being too racist" and say "see these places aren't as outright racist like what's said online" but duke and jon intentionally refrained from making ANY contentious statements to challenge their opinions, of course, out of safety. if they were to be more critical of the restaurant's proximity to Klan rallies, political posters, etc., they wouldn't have gotten comforting smiles but rather a clear discomfort in the replies, most likely not many people are willing to be outright racist in direct light, it's what's most easily identifiable as racism, but racism is more expansive that just being called out with the hard -ER and being denied service, but all the microaggressive behavior, political complicity, indifference towards outright hate groups, etc.

These times racists usually don’t show their overt racism on video unless they really dgaf. Say that! There’s no “good racist” or “nice racist.” Anyone can have an amicable interaction so long as confrontations and challenges are kept to a minimum. What you seen here were racist that met “nice” people and kept it cute for the sake of not feeling actively offended. You see they kept trying to bait Duke and Jon into a saying a differing view or comment? They kept bringing up controversial issues surrounding the restaurant to see what they’d say back.
