Tha shit that goes down behind those walls, was in solano 92-96 2011/2013, did a few violations there as well, I’ve been off parole for 3yrs and been out since 2013.... all I can say is that it sure feels good..... again, nice show and stay doing your thang..one luv

I thought military was hard, being a member of a structured prison organization is on a whole other level after hearing this story. At least the military was bound by law, violence and was not used as official policy.

As far as tappin in, of course I’m always gonna support those I believe in or those who deserve credit so it’s all good homie… Truth be told, I really don’t watch too many other channels, not due to a lack of interest but just because I’m always working. I don’t do a lot of lives like a lot of other channels, (I don’t want to burn out my shelf life too fast, 😆) so I type a lot of my content out and that’s why it’s so time consuming. At any rate, I’ll tap in sometime but keep doing your thing homie and I’m sure your channel will grow.

PA has some rough walls for sure. Glad your home. I'm trying hard to make better decisions to not go back myself. Only did 2 years but it was long enough for me to change perspective of my own behaviors, ego, and future goals. Assault w/deadly weapon could also have gotten a far longer sentence.... helped me realize me work on feeling gratefulness.

He figured “the youngster didn’t listen to my words but he’s already got years ahead and don’t need to add more so lemme do it this way!” It could be that had you not had that bunk mate & had he not given a shit for you there’s a chance that stabbing happens & a chance of murder if shit went really bad. Man, I haven't thought about that AIDS class in years! What I remember most about Quentin was the mural on the wall in the chow hall, flaming toilet paper flying off the tier for the new year in '00, and how high the fifth tier was. There were no bars on the tier in West Block that I remember. And showering with like 100 other dudes in water over your ankles because the drain was clogged. I don't get to talk about any of this stuff because of where my life has taken me, but it's weird how comfortable it is to hear stories about prison even after being out for 15 years.

It always crack me up that u have to follow way more rules in prison the u ever have to do in the streets and all the people are there because they couldn't follow the rules to begin with... Some of them I do understand for safety and from not starting a riot

Respect. Well told. I used to live in Burlingame right on the San Mateo border. Northerners would come by looking for little brawls but I also had other buddies that were nortés. Just kid shit I'm a wood. But I never want to go back to prison. I'm trying to do it the right way. It sounds like y'all keyholer really had it out for you.. that must have been hard to deal with him.. I used to get on the wire and sing some oldies.. Yelling on the tier will always get ya. I learned to have the majority of my convos face to face because I kept gettin in trouble for dumb stuff like that. I got out the hole and had a violation waiting for running my mouth in the hole on the tier
Worked there in '98, Workin North block desk, body comes flying off the fifth tier. I will never forget the sound of that body hitting the concrete floor head first.
Oh there is plenty I'd rather forget, and that I have forgotten, but some stuff is unforgettable so I try n make some sense of it in a way thats beneficial - with mixed results
This is why you need to carry yourself pretty firme when on the outside cause you ever go to jail then prison you’ll need to answer for your mistakes. Gotta keep it real all the time. It isn’t hard to do if that’s who you are. Some Vatos need to keep being reminded

In 1992 Carson. South Block San Quentin was also for 90 day observation ppl. See if yr prison worthy . I was able to get a rehab after sent back after 45 from my city jail San Francisco....I've NEVER been ok n trouble since. It cured me of running amok
Just came across your channel. You are a superb storyteller w a great story. My thought, as a civilian, whenever I hear about how the program is in these active / high level prisons, is how strange it strikes me that the level of discipline, upright-walking, respect and a proper manly approach to the world seems to become THE thing when one is locked up at that highest level. Does that make sense? I'm trying to say that in my limited experience w dudes who were really in the street/gang life, the gap btwn how it is on the streets and how it is when you're around the cream of the crop locked up long term is surprisingly wide. It's like the whole program crystallizes down to its essence when all the extra crap in regular life is taken away. As in, if these cats had that program as part of their lives to begin with, they probably wouldn't have ended up w life sentences etc. One of life's many paradoxes. God bless you

I knew the majority of those Vatos from 18 Street Norte San Mateo . They was some Hitters . They was the most targeted and hated hood back in the days but held their ground for sure . Back in 90s the beefed with other Norte hoods also 18st beefed with the Tongans and on top with beefin with them surs . Then somewhere down the line the 3 different Norte sets in S.M was cool and all 3 were against SMS surs . Just here to give respect where respect is due !

You know back in the days the system was so much different, today from all the stories i see on these channels it amazing how people incarcerated freely and willingly give up there freedom even after being locked up ,what i mean by that is that not only you lost your right to be free on the streets but then you subcomb to another mans will for you have to program with the way that whatever people you associate with program and if you don't there are consequences that come with that program back in the days it was nothing like what it is now.
San Quentin reminds me of the way chino is u cant see side to side only straight ahead..Anywho we also have a late night radio session i think it was Friday,Sat and Sundays 8 to 10..
