my 1ST visit to Wildwood State Park Long Island. Went looking for Porgies, kept hooking up bass in North Shore and South Shore Beaches. My new Rod BROKE!!!

Thanks! Stripers and big Bluefish on East Coast put up big fights because of their size. The rods break because i am a caveman at handling them 😂

Yes May 20th would always get you on some of the big porgy schools near our shores out east of NYC.

I mean scrap the mussel meat out of the shells to hook the meat inside only, toss away the empty shells for chum in waters.

hello... thank you again for answering my question before...i went to west end 2... but it was so far of a walk and i thought to my self..this spot is not for me...i returned all surfing stuff at walmart..and maybe i will focus on fishing piers...much accessible for me...will the moss at captree ever stop ?
