I wish this film would be longer

It was simply an evil thing in my book.

Just finished reading Black Diamonds, by Catherine Bailey, a well written biographical book about the Earls Fitzwilliam and their lives at Wentworth. Absolutely fascinating. It covers primarily from the 7th Earl to the 9th who died with Kathleen Kennedy in a plane crash. It also covers in great detail their involvement in the mining industry including how a bitter politician, despite national outrage, had the land and the formal gardens right up to the house, destroyed for coal mining.
