@@littleshadow2707 if you're saying that Black educators following the same pedagogy that the US dept of education is pumping, are no different, then I agree. Yes there are scholars of European descent who are willing to accept occupational suicide by telling the truth, but they are scarce. So let me put it this way and quote Lerone Bennett Jr. who stated, "an educator in this system is either a revolutionary or a oppressor ." If as an educators you're not exposing students of Afrikan descent to the likes of Dr John Hendrick Clarke, Dr.Josef Ben Jochannon, Shiek Anta Diop, Browder, Asante, just to name a few giants who have done the scholarly work on recovering our story. Then they are a collaborator to an oppressive system that present lies as facts.

We all know we Africans are notorious for seeing our differences while not noticing our glaring similarities. Outsiders will notice the similarities before we do. why is the ancient language not similar to any Negro language, and it is very similar to the Arabic language, until Chaplin hired an Arab scholar "IBN WAHSHIAH" who translated the Pharaonic texts into Arabic? Why do the indigenous people follow a culture of dress similar to that of the Arabs, especially kohl, head coverings and aprons? Why do the Arab pharaohs look like "eyes, nose, jaw, long non-Negro hair, medium skin color..."? Why did the pharaohs have the same genes as the Arabs after a genetic analysis of more than 32 pharaonic kings thousands of years later? Why do Egyptian inscriptions say that their ancestors came from a place of drought in the past? This is equivalent to 100% of the Arabian Peninsula 9,000 years ago Finally, according to the science of the distribution of human races, the Arab race dominates the Arabian Peninsula and North Africa, while the Negroes their land is central and southern Africa..

Who is the real person who is supposed to take the history of the other, one belonging to the Mongolian dynasty, the other to the Indian dynasty, the European dynasty, and the last to the Arab dynasty According to history, not a single Negro set foot in North Africa first, but rather the first to settle in North Africa were the Arab dynasty "Phoenicians, Copts and Punians", then the Roman and Greek occupiers, and finally in modern times many blacks began mass migration and large batches by dozens Thousands from South and Central Africa to North Africa.

After being in Egypt after going to the museum and seeing the ancient statues who were obviously black after meeting The curator of the museum and the pyramids he was known as a doctor but I cannot pronounce his name here but he was in charge of all of the pyramid and all of the findings in the pyramid also under the pyramid. There were many things that I discovered one of them was the most obvious yes not only were the Egyptians black men but they also had covered more then Egypt after all Egypt is a part of Africa. Another thing that was very obvious extremely obvious and I will not skirt around here it was obvious that white Europeans white Americans and anywhere you find white people in control of other countries they had did everything they could to wipe out the history of all Africa how embarrassing to see the human species lower himself to such caliber.

Sorry my friend but here’s where the dishonesty comes in.. Understand Afro centric theories weren’t developed in Cairo or Alexandria but in New York & Chicago in 1920/30,s it’s an Afro American invention. When an Afro centric says African what he really means is Bantu. Research the Bronze Age Bantu expansion out of central Africa when the Bantu people burst out of the Congo basin much in the same way that the indo Europeans exploded out of the steppes of southern Russia into Europe and India with very similar results the replacement of the Neolithic population. I’ll tell you what depictions of ancient Egyptians do look like they look like the San peoples of South Africa light brown skin with slightly asiatic features scientifically proven to be one of the oldest cultures on the planet . Yes you can access Egypt by land from Kenya guess what you can access it from Israel and Syria as well guess which is closer are we seriously calling Israelis and Syrians sub Sahara Africans now good luck with that.Don’t get me wrong the tin foil hat theory that ancient Egyptians were Europeans is just as crazy. Egypt was invaded and occupied multiple times by Europeans during the Bronze Age collapse they were called the sea people, the Hyksos or the Phillistines referenced in the bible. Is it inconceivable that some ancient Hyksos king adopted Egyptian burial practices they adopted everything else similarly would not invaders from Nubia and Kush be the same these people including the Greeks Romans etc weren’t celibate they along with mercenaries from Nubia & Kush have been adding large amounts of their DNA to local population for centuries. Basically Egypt has been invaded and occupied so many times over the centuries it’s impossible barring a time machine to know what the ancient Egyptians looked like. Imagine in 4000 years time a future archeologist in America finds a photo of president Obama and declares that the ancient kingdom of the United States was ruled by Africans lol

Egypt was founded by caucasians who built the pyramids and ruled for THOUSANDS of years. "Blacks" come from sub-saharan Africa. The Sahara is harsh and vast, and, whole populations found it nearly impossible to migrate through. The Nubians werre far more caucasian thousands of years ago. WHere do you think cucsasians lived? At the north pole? Most of eastern Eurasia was covered by glaciers, some as high as TWO MILES. The domain of the caucasians, prior to the Muslim conquests of the 7th century AD, was ALL of the MEditerranean, from SPain, throught north africa and the middle east, up to the "caucasus" mountains. NOAH was a caucasian. His descendants went back down to the middle east and north africa, after the melting of the glaciers and floods inundated most of the mediterranean and eastern urasia. why is the ancient language not similar to any Negro language, and it is very similar to the Arabic language, until Chaplin hired an Arab scholar "IBN WAHSHIAH" who translated the Pharaonic texts into Arabic? Why do the indigenous people follow a culture of dress similar to that of the Arabs, especially kohl, head coverings and aprons? Why do the Arab pharaohs look like "eyes, nose, jaw, long non-Negro hair, medium skin color..."? Why did the pharaohs have the same genes as the Arabs after a genetic analysis of more than 32 pharaonic kings thousands of years later? Why do Egyptian inscriptions say that their ancestors came from a place of drought in the past? This is equivalent to 100% of the Arabian Peninsula 9,000 years ago Finally, according to the science of the distribution of human races, the Arab race dominates the Arabian Peninsula and North Africa, while the Negroes their land is central and southern Africa.

But what you will find very rich in this whole dialogue is this one player is missing that he has not spoken about, and get you the main player because we have already established that the land was called Kemet which means black the Bible calls the land ham which means black so when you go to the biblical text after God destroyed the first world with a flood it tells us that Noah and his three sons and their three wives along with Noah's wife was the only people say which the number is eight. And it goes on to tell us out of these three sons whose names were ham s h e m j a p h e t the known world was populated out of these three boys and and we know that the name Egypt is a Greek name because when the Greeks looked upon them they said these people are Egypt which is a slang word for black which we understand the original name will call Kem e.t. or ham after Noah's son mizzi Haan the wonderful scholar does not mention the Hebrew Israelites I wonder why. Who dwelt in Egypt for over 400 yrs how how do one not mention that part of their history I will tell you why because to mention it you would have to also acknowledge those nation of people is being black also which would make the people that say they are Jews today a lie being with also let you know that the true biblical Children of the Bible Negroes or they're called today African-Americans we are not Africans we are Hebrew Israelites and our history is greater than that of Egyptian history so be not deceived go into your Bible and read revelation second chapter verse 9 and Revelation the third chapter verse 9 and it will tell you that those people that are over in the land are imposters and Liars enough said

It is European Egyptologists saying that because they want to away Kmt from Blacks. When you look at the hieroglyphics, you will notice that the determinative accompanying the word is that of a civilisation (village, town, country) and not that of a soil. Besides, there is a word Kmt with the determinative of people. How are you going to translate it? Black trees? Blacks birds? Racist Egyptologists translate it as Egyptians. Egyptian is not a kemetic word. The translation must be of cause black people. The word is clear. Be careful while reading white literature about Africa. More often we read from them what they have in mind from the background of their colonialist mentality. People, about Africa, read black scholars. Even when they are bad, they are easy to correct. But White scholars, even where they are good about Africa, they are difficult to understand. People are formatted by their different cultures. Don't ask Whites to be honest about Africa. Equally their language (r n km.t)=>would be similar to the Bari transliteration of (róró na kúmöt) meaning: róró= (noun) voice; na (genitive prep . of); kúmöt= blackened/charred/burnt. In the early period of Egypt, during the Old Kingdom, Egypt was referred to as Kemet (Kermit), or simply Kmt , which means the Black land. They called themselves "remetch en Kermet", which means the "People of the Black Land". The term refers to the rich soil found in the Nile Valley and Delta. But it was also sometimes referred to as Deshret, or dshrt , which refers to the "Red Land", or deserts of which Egypt is mostly comprised. Kemet is the original meaning of the word Alchemy, which is: Al (as a connotation of the Arabic word Allah: al-, the + ilah, God) means "The God," Also Al (Hebrew) for "highest" or El "God." Chem or Khem is the origin of kimia (Greek χυμεία) which means "to fuse or cast a metal." Also from Khem, the ancient name of Egypt. The synthesis is Al-Kimia: "to fuse with the highest" or "to fuse with (Neb-Er-Tcher) God of the most outer limits, or The Most High." The name doesn't prove anything about black people. He's making up BS. This doesn't prove anything about their race. This assertion is contradicted by a passage from a text inscribed on the walls of the Temple of Edfu, as noted by Oréal (1998: 561): ḏr nty Km.t ḏd r jr.t Wsjr. ḏfḏ.s pw. « Because » Black « (Egypt) is said of the eye of Osiris; it is his pupil. »(Edfou, ed. E. Chassinat, t. 6, Cairo, 1931, p. 200, 86) The fact that Ancient Egyptian literature regularly opposes km, ‘black’, to dšr, ‘red’; that the former is associated with Osiris and the Egyptians and that the second is associated with Seth and foreigners; that the name of Egypt is formed on a root homonymous to km « black », that the name of the desert is formed on a root homonymous to that of dšr « red »; that Osiris is associated with Egypt and Seth with the desert; that the testimony of the contemporary languages of Pharaonic Egyptian and Coptic shows that the vocalization of the name of Egypt was what one would expect from a nominalized adjective derived from the root /km/ ‘black’ shows that ‘ there is no serious reason to question the etymology of Kmt ‘Egypt’ as ‘the Black one’. There's a black and white Osiris. The black one represents what the greeks called chaos before the light. However here there's a reason Osiris is black and Set us red. Osiris represents the God head. Horus and set two pillars of the tree of life. Osiris was black representing balance. Set was red representing war or death. Horus eye was green representing life. The name had nothing to do with skin color. It's associated with Osiris pupil to represent the all seeing eye you gain from balancing masculine and feminine energy within.

Balaams one eyed prophecy is about turning Edom, aka hell into heaven and Edom gaining the eye. The scepter that rises out of Israel belongs to God. The star that comes out of Jacob represents the morning star JC said he'd give you. It's about Sirius. Balaam crushed them on their skulls and foreheads to represent deatroying evil within. He blessed them three times is referring to the tree of life. Rev 17 says five kings have fallen. The five senses. Man. We're on the sixth. The sixth sense allows you to see God. Seventh is heaven and can only remain a short time. The eighth is the destroyer subject to the seven. Triple your senses. Five five five. It breaks down into six. Six six six breaks down into nine. The omega. Adam represents the first man not the first human. The first man is natural man. It's about becoming one with the universe then returning to our fallen state. This is what happened to Noah in the so called flud before he got drunk off the forbidden fruit and his sons found him naked. His sons represents the three pillars as well. That's why he couldn't curse shem. It's all symbolism. The two spies who went into Caanon and the prostitute represents the tree of life. The prostitute is the whore of Babylon. It's saying this will happen right down to every single creature. I'm not the one hurting. Every biblical character is God. It's sexual alchemy. The above color code with Osiris explains the four horsemen of the apocalypse in the seven seals aka seven chakras. The woman sits on seven hills blocking them off. It's about an inner war within to open them up. You're being groomed and demoralized. That's the truth. It isn't your history smfh. The man in the video misrepresented everything including that. You need to realize that just because someone is black and is talking about Egypt does not make them an authority. He doesn't know anything about Egypt and if he does he isn't talking about anything they actually believed. It must suck knowing that a white person knows more about their mystery schools than you ever could huh? Look up the phrase apple of my eye. Apple is a refrence to Sirius. @@thedarkgoddesses4037 let me put this another way ignore your biases for a second and ask yourself why is it that when you go back to the start of this information when it first came about it was before white people even existed so why would they name a land blackland after skin tone when that's all they knew? how does that even make sense to anybody? and that's the problem with black people especially black Americans is you all will twist and pervert anything that has the word black in it in order to make it about your skin color when nothing in history has ever been about your skin color. the conditioning from the government is just too strong y'all can't see around it. on top of that white people are enslaved with you and you don't even understand that. 99 percent of people understand absolutely nothing that's happened in history but when it come specifically to black people things are so misrepresented and it's just so unfortunate what's being passed down to you and it's just causing massive conflicts within your own selves that you can't seem to get around because you don't understand anything about what the actual truth is. Ultimately it comes down to other black people lying to you and oppressing you for money exploiting you for money while blaming the white man y'all keep falling for it. It isn't white people oppressing blacks. It's other black people. The truth is we are all literally one. Everyone is being groomed, manipulated, and lied to. That's including white people. The entire elite circles all over the world learn all this from a young age and use it to turn us against each other. It was the ancients who hid it first, and later on the Europeans continued what was already happening and eventually perfected it like a fine art learning from past mistakes. It's the lie that humanity will never recover from... and it's because of BS like this that keeps people turned against each other from a lack of understanding.

In 3150 BC, it's implausible to imagine white or olive-skinned individuals walking shirtless and bare-legged in ancient Egypt, constructing pyramids and temples without suffering from sunburn. This scenario simply couldn't have occurred, indicating the absence of Eurocentric and Arab presence during that era. Such claims are falsehoods perpetuated by Europeans.

Even the language of the computer today, the binary numbers were derived from the numeration of ancient divination system called Afa, Ifa and many other names based upon where in Africa you are from. There are 256 corpuses of Afa (Ewe) or Ifa (yoruba). There are therefore 256 permutations and combinations using the divination chain of seeds/cowries strung together at equipoised distance with 2 centered seeds or cowries of concave or convex sides which depict 0 and1. As usual Europeans manipulated this knowledge to create Geomancy. So this ancient information retrieval system from one Afa priest to another, is now what has gained traction as Computer Language.

Debunking the claims of Asante: The argument I present here reflects a critical perspective on Afrocentric claims and highlights various historical and factual inaccuracies. It raises concerns regarding subjectivism and the politicisation of Egypt and Greek history within the context of race wars. However, it is important to provide a more concise and academically-oriented summary of the main points made: 1. The meaning of "Kemet" as the land of black soil, rather than directly correlating it with black-skinned people. It is disputed that the interpretation of Herodotus' writings, asserting that he described the Egyptians as dark-skinned is incorrect as he was referring to the Ethiopians (Sub-Saharan Africans) and described the Egyptians as reddish brown skin that is comparable to the to Southern Greeks and Aegean islanders. He even stated that because of this it is very hard to disassociate who is Greek and who is Egyptian until you here them speak their native language. This compares them to the wall paintings of the same colour. 2. With regard to Imhotep, it is acknowledged that there is a lack of contemporary accounts referring to him as a practicing physician. However, there are ancient documents that suggest he served as the chief magician and chief physician of the pharaoh's court, indicating his likely proficiency in medicine. While there is not a direct connection between Imhotep and Asclepius in ancient mythology or religious beliefs, there are certain parallels and similarities between them. 3. Ancient Egyptian Sagas/Thinkers Vs Ancient Greek philosophers (this is discussed in another post as it is too large to include here). 4 Asante's claim that ancient Egypt is the oldest continuous civilization in the World is inaccurate, as Egypt was conquered and and occupied by Libyans in 1077 BCE and remained with many conquerors until the British were defeated in 1954 CE (other than 609BCE - 526BCE and when Egypt temporarily overthrew the Persians - 404-342 BCE. - these were the only two periods in antiquity). Therefore for a nation to be considered continuous, certain aspects such as traditions, language, religion, customs, and political entity need to be maintained. 5. The abacus is an ancient calculating tool with a diverse history of development across different civilizations. While its origins cannot be attributed to a single individual or culture, early versions of the abacus were used in ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt. The Chinese are often credited with inventing the modern form of the abacus, known as the suanpan, during the Han Dynasty. The abacus also found use in ancient Greece and Rome. Its widespread adoption and independent evolution in different parts of the world make it challenging to pinpoint a specific inventor or civilization responsible for its creation. 5. Conclusion: Dr Asante is creating chaos within the academia, Instead of looking to give an identity to the lost 400 years taken from him and Afro-Americans - he is inventing history to suit his self esteem o to manipulate people for his political agenda. America is not the world and the world is more sophisticated to not fall for his populism antics. Ironically, many African scholars do not agree with him and have stated that Africa has rich history without the need to culturally appropriate from Egypt and Greece. For as stated in the Martin Bernal book - Black Athena - he openly states that if the Egyptians are African then with with cultural mixing through trade and colonial mixing by both cultures then the logical step is that the Greeks are the same. I.E. African.

The problem with this whole Egyptian/Black issue is that the Egyptians were so advanced that it totally contradicts the views of how (western) society views black people. Being a black man: the thing i would like to see most is: what happens when black people as a group choose an area of science to seriously focus on like they were back in the days of the pharaohs, it seems (back in the day) they liked to focus on the stars; when blacks organize their thoughts on a subject the end result will be on a different level, not necessarily better but unique; this is why the pyramids are so different. I think blacks will focus on a whole different area of science maybe something closer to nature..maybe. Anyways it doesn't mater if Blacks were Egyptian or not now, because we ALL know the truth...so what is next?

Yes, you're are correct. Black Africans/Nubians are indigenous to Upper Egypt and Nubia/Sudan for thousands of years. At times parts of Lower Nubia were part of Pharaonic Egypt. These black Africans who lived in Upper Egypt and Lower Nubia were from the same racial stock as Nubians who lived in Ta-Seti. What made them Egyptian was based on the region they lived in and how they culturally identified. Ta-Set did not denote a race, it denoted a region. Also, the term Nubia and Nubian historically has been contested. Therefore, you had 2 people from the same racial stock being geographically located differently one identifying as Egyptians the other identifying as the people of Ta-Seti. The black Africans in Upper Egypt and Lower Nubia identifying as Egyptians, the other black Africans identifying as Ta-Seti (land of the bow). Ancient Egyptians were not race conscious. Frank Yurco Egyptologist described the distinct phenotypes between the North and South Egyptians. South Upper Egyptian physical description: "Sequen-Re Tao, who died on the battlefield about 1580 B.C.E. He was from Thebes, much farther south. He had tightly curled, woolly hair, a slight build and strongly Nubian features." North Upper Egyptians physical description " Pharaoh Ramess II who reigned from 1279 to 1212 B.C.E. He is a typical northern Egyptian; he came from the north easternmost nome (governate) of Egypt. He had fine, wavy hair, a prominent hooked nose and moderately thin lips." Show less

In the 1960s and 1970s, which I lived through, there arose the belief that if Black folks "re-embraced" our traditional African identity and/or religion, a transformation, or higher state, of consciousness would occur that would free us. We started adopting African names, usually Swahili or Yoruba. Sometimes, ancient Egyptian names were adopted. What happened as a result of that phase? NOTHING. It wasn't long before you turned on the TV, and the 6:00 news reported that, "A Black man, Kayinday Ra Olokun, was charged with attempted murder after stabbing Eric Smith, a store owner, and robbing the store of three bags of Jays Potato Chips and a package of Hostess Twinkies." Now, today, damn near every week a brother with DREADS [which was also supposed to be some "consciousness-raising" symbol] is shown, handcuffed, being helped into the back of a squad car by a cop, destined, eventually, for the slammer. If you're a Pharoah, where's your damned PYRAMID? I'm tired of seeing Black folks trip out over ANCIENT EGYPT. I mean, DAMN!! Enough is enough!!! Been there, DONE that, and what did it accomplish? It had been [foolishly] ASSUMED that Black folks could "re-capture" or adopt African traditions and religions, and that would put us in some kind of order. BAD, IRRATIONAL and ESCAPIST assumption. These trips, to ancient times, amount to nothing more than nostalgic self-indulgence about the "glorious past" of ancient Africa, and perhaps a subconscious attempt to ESCAPE THE HARD WORK NEEDED TO SUCCEED TODAY IN THE MODERN WORLD. It produces ZERO. Need proof? Just look at this video. It demonstrates the state of too many of our people: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8IQOZprbaiA.html Nuf said. ANY QUESTIONS??? I do think it's important for us to know and learn from our culture. As an African I also have observed that a lot of times when we adopt Western concepts we do so at the expense of our traditional and cultural teachings - more often than not with disastrous consequences. It's not to say that our culture or traditions are without flaws for we are not after all angelic beings. However our culture and traditions do teach us a way of being and that's an important thing to hold on to. So we need not throw the baby with the bath water. It shouldn't be about any type of superiority about being a pharaoh as you say but African culture teaches about humility about our interconnectedness about being part of a whole and being responsible for the world around us and all it's life forms. When you talk about Botho or Ubuntu, it encompasses how we relate to our elders and even to our youngsters and how we are to carry ourselves. I am African who has lived in Africa all my life but I feel robbed of my culture at the best of times - I can't imagine what it's like for AA or anyone who lives in the West. At times I just want to have time a moment to live my culture without people pointing out what's negative about it but celebrating the good. In any case I worry that I am funding it hard to have a meaningful connection to my ancestors in a world that I inhabit in but that doesn't have room for them and what does that then say about who I am today and how I am fullfilling my purpose in this world?

@@elainerekopantswe2933 Thank you, Elaine, for your response. I tend to think that the word "Respect," as well as its meaning, is not peculiar to any one culture. So, I will just say this: Because of the special respect that my father taught me concerning how I speak to a woman, your response makes it easy for me to practice his teachings. He taught me to have a high level of respect for women. Your response was not argumentative. My post was purposefully condemning. But that's for reasons of "tough love," another attribute our Black parents had that helped us pre-1950s children grow to achieve holistic well-being, mind, body, and soul. You are mother--woman. I can't do anything but accept your post, despite my age of 72 years, and do so without including "tough-love" tension, despite my age and experiences. Elaine, I'll briefly explain: The difference between AAs in pre-1960s America and AAs today is like night and day. Pre-1960, our people embraced those "African" [I'd say, universal] attributes needed to avoid self-destruction: Respect for elders; conservative values [by "conservative" I'm not talking about anything directly related to politics]; TRUE belief in the Divine Being (God, Allah, Yah, whatever); the tendency to FACE life, and not ESCAPE life. Facing life; not trying to escape; not making excuses, is why we achieved the following [It's a real example]: Even during the worst forms of racism, Jim Crow, segregation, our people achieved MORE, pre-1960s, than we've achieved since. On the south side of Chicago alone, the following were black-owned and operated (And hold tight: I'll get back to African consciousness). Two hospitals Doctor's offices Dental offices One bank One insurance company Two mini-supermarkets TV repair shops Live poultry shops Two taxi-cab companies Mom-and-pop grocery stores Solid religious and spiritual institutions Two-parent families Rare divorce And more. What happened? Why is it that, today, the south side of Chicago is called a "war zone," where 11-year old Black children kill other Black children with guns? This never happened, pre-1960s. Never. You will hear the claim that "the white man" infiltrated the community with guns, and that's why things went down. No. And if "the white man" did infiltrate guns, it was not the guns that brought us down. It was our tossing away the values taught by pre-1960s Black parents. When we were poor as dirt, we still did not have children killing children. Because mother and father were in the home, teaching values. I know exactly what happened: We discarded values. African values? I won't label them. I just know that our parents, grandparents and relatives, neighbors, and the Black community at large consciously taught us what I call, in my book, SHVs (Strong High Values). Now, in 1968, I was 18. I got into the "my-African-culture" vibe. As I recall, there were 7 African principles called Nguzo Saba, although I might have that wrong. People were trying to incorporate the values taught in Nguzo Saba, supposedly African values. It didn't work, Elaine. I'm talking about on-the-ground, real stuff. Look at our communities today. My point in the original post was that dreaming about the African past, while at the same time forgetting about the "Africans" (our parents; our grandparents; our uncles; our auntees; our neighbors, etc.), who, pre-1960s, without knowing one single word of an African language, instilled in us those values that led many of us to balance, harmony, peace, stability, and success, makes no sense whatsoever Why dream about the African past, when you've thrown away the values your own Black American ancestors, right here in the U.S., taught you? Makes no sense.. I'm not talking philosophy here. I am talking about a real conditions, pre-1960s, that no longer exists. Afro-consciousness did not work. It did not last. It disappeared. In my view, it was an illusion. I call it "nostalgic self-indulgence about the glorious past of Black folks" in ancient times. If I am incorrect, show me one Black community in the United States where the principles of Nguzo Saba, or any other kind of principles that are defined as African, exists and has produced greatly positive results. In my book, I demonstrate, using real-life examples, not theories, how pre-1960s Black values created powerful success for our people--a success that, apparently, "The System" wants to keep hidden from our people. How, for instance, did a Black male window washer send two daughters through college? Values. I talk about him in my book, Uncle Tom's Uncle, Second Edition I would never try to deprive you of the identity that you want. You live in Africa. I was raised in Chicago, Illinois, U.S.A. I am only testifying to my experience here. I support your embrace of African identity, culture, history, etc. I am not diminishing it. I was [and still am], for instance, a great fan of Brother Leader Colonel Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi, who our "Black" brother, President Barack Obama, caused to be sodomized and MURDERED IN THE STREETS, without a trial. Brother Leader did a lot for Africa, as you probably know. He used the African "direct democracy" principle to develop Libya's Jamahiryya government. My "Black" brother Obama destroyed Libya, a crime he later admitted was the worse mistake he'd ever made. (Yeah...tell it to the Black Tawergha people of Libya). Anyway, direct democracy was invented by Africans. You will not like me saying the following: Black people are not Africans. How do our women dress, hum? Do they dress in the modest ways of our African ancestors, from head to toe, hum? And I'm not talking about just African Muslim women. I'm talking about the innate sense of modesty that African women, in Africa, had [HAD, since some have adopted Western ways]. No, they do not. They are American women--Western women, with Western ways. Okay? So, it's different here. My call, in my book, is that our people adopt, with vigor and sincerity, the pre-1960s SHVs taught to us daily by pre-1960s Black parents. Thank you again for your response, my mother. 😊 www.academia.edu/80214543/Uncle_Toms_Uncle_Second_Edition

@@ronchism6435 Thanks for that, and yes I may be younger but you are a son I recognize as you have such a love for your people. You are my father and my brother. 🕯️🙏 Oddly I feel as though reading your post you are agreeing to what I say. Simply put I was saying I wish we were closer to our culture and traditions and that isn't about ancient African culture but about respect for you ancestors, for our fore father's and elders, meaning as you say that is inclusive of those parents you refer to pre- 1960. I consider them as ancestors. I am saying why have we lost that connection to them is what I feel is the gap in my soul? When I speak of my Ancestors I also include my recent ancestors, I have no connection in the way I instinctively feel I should with the people who died, who sacrificed, who were thrown in jail for my liberation and I'm not talking ancient history I'm talking about just yesterday. What in my life today is honouring them? Okay? This is why I actually feel losing our culture and traditions is a part of the problem. You are talking about ambracing ancient culture. But how can we as Africans embrace ancient culture and not recent culture? In any respect the concept of Botho isn't just about respect it is about seeing a human being as a person regardless of who they are or what they have or own. We are brought up that way. It is about leading from a servant perspective, I mean traditional African chiefs were never Kings lording over their subjects, they were people who lived in a community - the same lifestyle as the people they led and understood that "Umuntu Ngumuntu Ngabantu" Our ancestors knew that when someone was struggling you lent them your livestock or animals and they would keep the offspring you don't charge them interest, when it was ploughing season we went around to every family to ensure that in the end everyone had planted, we plant for you, we move on to the next family until we've been to everyone, When you were building everyone in the village came and participated so that your hut could be completed in a day, when the Chief could dedicate a day for the village to go into the surrounding bush and forest just to do clean up. Where has that gone. Your argument as in the point you are making is that these things shouldn't matter to me? I'm not convinced. I have no issue with progress, or capitalism or modernity, I just want us to strike a balance and keep some things that our ancestors left for us. Now it's like we noe practice capitalism and tittle ship and we lose our values. When land used to be free and something that you only had to go to the Chief to ask for land everyone had a place to call home no one was homeless you only had to work with your hands with your family to feed yourselves, Now becuase of capitalism and tittle ship few people own all the land and most people are homeless and sleeping under bridges. People are rich not based on the work they put in but based on they were fortunate or lucky or corrupt or whatever enough to own more resources than everyone else. How is that teaching values and success. The reason for this is loss of our culture our ways and as a result we confuse ourselves as "Black" people and as Africans or AA. It makes me angry! You know. I'm any case I guess I understand where you are coming from and I am not someone who grew up in Chicago but I just feel as though we may not be 100% going through the same things but there is a lot of similarities and I can relate. Are our values about money or material things or about learning from our elders in order to teach our kids, about honouring our ancestors through our daily actions about our role in our communities. How many times do I have to ask about our cultures and traditions I don't have enough time from those who are still living and between my Job and life in general for me to learn everything and be able to pass it on where does that leave us. Anyway that's just from where I'm sitting i guess.

@@elainerekopantswe2933 Peace, Elaine. You said, "Your argument as in the point you are making is that these things shouldn't matter to me?" No, my sister (mother). I support your desires. Yes, they SHOULD matter to you. As I mentioned before, my particular focus was on the particular dysfunctionalities that developed, in the African-American community, post-1960s, due to our abandonment of traditional values. And back in the '60s, I noticed that, rather than a re-capturing of African values, the Black-consciousness movement created people, unfortunately, for whom the attempt to re-capture our African culture served NOT as incentive to incorporate African values into ALL aspects of our lives (including culture, economics, education), but, rather, as a DRUG; as an ESCAPE. Understand what I mean? Of course, not everyone "spaced out," but too many of us did. It's what I noticed. Many of us tried (and hard) to re-capture that which you have rightly said has been lost. In fact, Chicago was a huge center for that. But, for a lot of us, the wearing of dashikis, tikis, sandals, Afro hairstyles, became an escape, not something more substantive. That's what I noticed. I was part of it, but got out of it quickly when I joined an organization called The Afro-American New Society, headed by a man named Leroy Hardy, who chose the African name, Chaka Ra. He taught us pragmatism; taught us the fact that we had to survive, materially, and deal with the reality of life in America. In our group, we were Black nationalists and Pan-Africanists. But we were far, far, far from dreamers. We built actual, substantial institutions, such as a pre-school that met ALL requirements of the State of Illinois; a food co-op that save its members 67% on their grocery bill, and other institutions. Unfortunately, we were an unusual group in the Afro-consciousness movement--much more pragmatic. Not everybody was out in space,. But, unfortunately, many saw Afro-consciousness more as an escape than a tool that could be used in every part of life: economic, etc. We have to survive. Life is hard. And remember what else I said: That I would not rob you of that identity, culture, that you want. Let me approach this from a different angle. When I was a kid, I instinctively felt that I was in the wrong place. My dad and my big brother told me, when I got grown, that they did not think that I would live past 18. It was because my soul was saddened, "knowing" that "I don't belong here." And that wasn't from some Afro stuff I'd read. It was just in my soul. In school, we read a book for children called, "Farmer Brown." He was a White farmer who lived on a farm, with his wife and two kids. I LONGED to be away from the modern, urban life, and, instead, live a more "natural" life on a farm. Let's look at another example: The Amish people. They're White. Watch this short, 3-minute video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AsTB0HnM6WM.html That is a typical "barn raising," where Amish men of the Amish community work together to help ONE Amish family build a barn. They do the same thing when helping ONE Amish family build their home. The whole community works TOGETHER, just as you long to see happen again. If you are not familiar with the Amish, read about them. The very reason they live amongst themselves, far away from "the English," as they call all other Americans, is because they want to maintain what you wish you could have and maintain: a holistic life; a simpler life. They are more concerned with living WITH NATURE; living their Amish religion: reading the Bible; marrying as religious Amish, etc. They shun all modern equipment. They don't use cars. They use horses and buggies. I applaud that. [I'm making a point, so hold tight]. In Italy, there is a community called Damanhur: damanhur.org/ They live literally underground, having carved out, as I recall, from mountains. They do not want to live the modern life, and have created a culture that matches their values; that allows them to live as they wish to live, rather than how people in the modern world live. In the 1960s and the 1970s in America, you had all kinds of groups: Nichiren Shoshu Soka Gokai; Jesus People U.S.A.; Hare Krishna (The International Society of Krishna Consciousness); Baba Oserjiman's (an African-American who learned the Yoruba religion and culture) community, which is probably the only truly self-made Afro-community in American. I think they're still in South Carolina, and many other groups. The so-called "60's Revolution," in America, was not political--not at its root. People had grown extremely tired of the materialistic culture, whether they were White, Black, Puerto Rican, Native American. The motto back then, borrowed from the Hippie movement, was "Turn on, tune in, drop out" I can go on and on. What am I trying to say? I'm saying that, all over this planet, though we may not hear about it, there are people who are dog tired of this materialistic world. And they want out. They want to go back to the "village," so to speak. In China, right now, there's a movement that the CCP is worried about: Young people who are dropping out of the strictly "9-to-9," as they call it, lifestyle. That movement is called “lying flat,” or tangping (躺平): www.brookings.edu/techstream/the-lying-flat-movement-standing-in-the-way-of-chinas-innovation-drive/ That is must reading, so please do read it. The CCP (Chinese Communist Party) is scared to death, because young people in China are dog tired, and they are adopting an anti-materialistic lifestyle, choosing, instead, to live much more simply. In Europe, the Minimalist movement [not to be confused with the American visual arts and music movement], which still might be operating, is a rejectionist movement amongst European youth, in which they have consciously chosen to live as simply and cheaply as possible for the express purpose of avoiding materialism. What am I saying? The desire you have is the desire that many people, all over the planet, regardless of race, tribe, nationality or whatever, have. It's HUMAN. It may hit Africa harder than other places, I really don't know. But, just know that you are not alone. It isn't just your particular desire, as an African, to re-capture your African identity, culture, religion, slower pace, cooperation (such as the Amish barn raising, etc.). I happen to believe that, in fundamental ways, all human beings are the same. As I say in my book, we all want balance, harmony, peace, stability and, if possible, prosperity on some level. So, you are RIGHT to desire the more natural ways. It is natural to do so. I knew a White guy--close friend--who moved to India, he and his wife, to ESCAPE this madness. They moved there with their religious group that followed someone named Meher Baba, whose motto was, "Don't worry, be happy." A famous Black entertainer, Bobby McFarin, made a song out of "Don't worry, be happy." Check it out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d-diB65scQU.html From what I recall, Bobby McFarin was a follower of Meher Baba, the Indian guru. So, you're not alone. And I DO understand the longing in the soul. I will not elaborate here. But I had a REAL spiritual journey to West Africa. A story for another time. Anyway, again: You're not alone. You are a human who has the same desires as probably hundreds of millions of other human beings: to live more simply. So, you hold on to your dreams. How to make them come true? I do not know, my sister (mother). I really do not know. I just want my people, Black people, in America to face the current reality, and live in neighborhoods were children aren't killing other children. Peace & Love.

The truth is ancient Egyptians live on among the rural Fellahin and Saidi of Upper Egypt. They are the least admixed of Egyptians; they have managed to preserve the oldest traditions and practices. Ancient Egyptians who built the pyramids were people of the Nile Valley. People of the Nile vary in shades, shapes and facial features. They have been categorized into various groups : Nilotes (Nubians, Dinka etc.) , Nilo-Saharans (Toubou and Fulani, etc.) and Horners (Somali Habesha, etc.). They all ruled Egypt at some point long before it was invaded, occupied, and conquered by people from outside the Nile Valley (the Romans, the Greeks, the Turks etc.) Egyptians were never just one color but that doesn’t discount them from African linage. Africans are the most genetically diverse group of people on the planet.

The more far you’re away from the equator the lighter you’ll be. Black and white and even south Asian came into Egypt … but they weren’t native. It’s sad that so many people have no history. It’s not brown peoples fault for having created the first civilization. The first spiritual objects (Göbekli Tepi). And many other things which are beautiful but we are tired of this ,,Ancient Egyptians are black Ancient Greeks are black Buddha was black Native Americans were black Jesus was black Hebrew Israelites etc etc …“ We wuz kangz is getting sad… Also ..North Africa and even west Asia was arabized by Arabs (Yemenis) but they didn’t change the all those populations. Please educate yourself and leave my people alone.

Furthermore, the people you are calling Mediterranean are Mulattoes, that's why they are a little darker than the pale skins. Got it.
