Let’s just be honest, after Qui-Gon was stabbed and Obi-Wan and Maul were staring each other down, then Obi-Wan ignites his lightsaber and is bouncing on the balls of his feet raring to go, we were all like “Oh, this is gonna be good”

i thnk it's more of a symptom of just how badly the senate, and by extension the republic had fallen. in TPM, we see how bad it was. it's not hard to imagine palps could use those cracks to make the senate believe the jedi were evil.
@bakernation
@bakernation 3 месяца назад
I know this is like 3 years later but the senate doesn't care if they're evil. The senate is so corrupt and self serving at this point they just do whatever is most politically convenient at the time and lines their pockets. That's the point most of them are cowards and only serve themselves. The Jedi being arrogant and compromised only helps sell the lie. Pretty sure George was criticizing the US government's patriot act and other questionable policies in the aftermath of 9/11. Same as he did in the 70's with the parallels to the Vietnam war and western Imperialism.

I really liked the Anakin confesses scene. It really shows his confused emotions as he’s been trained as a robotic, unemotional machine for his entire childhood after suffering trauma from being a slave. His words and the way he uses them are in place, just not how padmè responds. He confessed to murdering dozens of creatures and padmè is just like, “it’s ok to be mad”

I think it was an okay trilogy overall, it has a lot of cool stuff but Revenge of the Sith is the one that adds and improves the saga. I don't think I would like return of the jedi that much without the prequels or at least revenge of the sith. Having Obi-Wan go "yeah I lied and also Leia is your sister" in the first 40 minutes is a lot like them just showing the Snokes in those tanks in the rise of skywalker, it's a very important fact that has been told to us but with a lot of information left out. The prequels, in particular revenge of the sith, shows us what really happened to Anakin and what he was like. Even the scene where Padmé gives birth and has the kids seperated on different planets gives more context for why Luke and Leia never met. While I think Vader's redemption holds up on its own, RotS expands on it showing Palpatine manipulating his turn and it causing him to lose everything adds more to him not wanting to lose his son in RotJ.

One thing when talking about the prequels is to first reevaluate the Plinkett reviews. They are an absolute travesty of a review series, that, while entertaining, gets over 90% of what it says wrong. If you take the time to actually think about what Plinkett is saying, you'll recongize the misconceptions and exaggerations, the holes in his argumentation, the absolute worthlessness of that piece of work as a whole. And once you see that, you go down the rabbithole of why the prequels are actually of a lot higher quality than the hate hype has made them out to be. Let's for example take your characterization of Qui-Gon, where you cite a moment of the Plinkett reviews that even many of his fans consider to be worthless, and say that he can only be described as "stoic". That's just flat out wrong, considering how much you find out about his character over the course of the movie. He's tremendously important, because Qui-gon is, I think, George Lucas' vision of what a jedi should be like; and he's of course very important for an understanding of Obi-Wan's character, which has been influenced heavily by him. The very first scene he's in, he's in a discussion with Obi-Wan about the force, where he is contradicting - or perhaps amending - Yoda's teachings. You can see his wisdom, experience and philosophical divergence from the jedi orthodoxy (represented by Yoda) in those first few lines. And he will continue to demonstrate those qualities throughout the movie, showing himself to be patient, knowledgeable, adaptable and a bit of a maverick when it comes to the etiquette of the jedi (like cheating in a dice game using the force). He's compassionate, but his compassion is tempered by pragmatism and experience (e.g. when he frees Anaking but leaves his mother behind, or when he saves Jar Jar by essentially enslaving him). And finally, he shows a quality that's rarely seen in SW: faith. In people, in the force, in fate; whatever it is, he allows for a degree of uncertainty while still acting in a resolved and determined manner. Now, I'm not making any of this up or pulling things out of my ass. All of that can easily be seen in the movie, but the hate hype has rendered people incapable of going beyond "stoic" as a description for Qui-gon's character. That's what the Plinkett review says, after all.

I know this is an old comment, but I've maintained for a while now that the RLM "reviews" effectively single-handedly destroyed any ability for the internet to reasonably discuss the Star Wars prequels, and in doing so also torpedoed the overall quality of internet pop culture "critics", which was already floundering in its early days because of the likes of The Nostalgia Critic. After those reviews came out, not only did any attempt to say "the prequels weren't all that bad" get met with responses of "ahem, watch these videos" or just outright parroting RLM's views, but it also showed the internet that any jabroni with a big enough chip on their shoulder can try to make "critical reviews" and they'd clog up the RU-vid algorithm with their slapdash, poorly thought-out missives on how it's too convenient that Anakin made C-3PO or Anakin was too melodramatic in EP. 2 (remember that time Luke started blubbering because he found out Darth Vader was his father? and then he jumped down a huge ass pit to the bottom of Cloud City but was totally fine and a force connection between him and Leia let them find him hanging off an antenna?) One of the central problems that has plagued nearly every criticism of the prequels for the past two decades arises from the fact that people don't take the same "critical" eye to the original trilogy--or when they do, they do so in an attempt to dismiss George Lucas' abilities as a creator rather than actually criticize the textual content of the films. They think that nitpicking small details amounts to substantive criticism while ignoring (or misunderstanding or even outright missing) overarching themes, character beats, intertextual references that are used to punctuate specific moments and give information to the viewer. All of this is why the sequel trilogy turned out the way it did, as it happens. I was skeptical from the very moment people started saying Force Awakens was basically retreading A New Hope and it was good. TFA set up very little of substance for the rest of the sequels to go off of because it was made with decades of entitled fanboy criticism in the back of everyone's minds and without any actual coherent plan for a full series of films, and that left The Last Jedi to try picking things up and making an actual plot out of everything. When a lot of fans then got mad at TLJ, corporate took over and we got the disaster that was Rise of Skywalker. If there had been a single unifying vision of what the trilogy should have been, perhaps it could have ended up like the prequels--a bit underbaked in parts, but with a solid core that not only ties its own trilogy together but also meaningfully adds to the other films that already exist. I should stop now, this comment is too long. Anyway, TL;DR: fuck redlettermedia.

In a meta perspective, the Duel of the Fates is one of the most important fights in the saga, but on-screen it goes over a lot of people's heads, and rightly so I believe. It's one of the few fights where neither side share a single word with each-other, even when there was opportunities to do so, like the force-field section where they're forced to wait before fighting again. The Jedi could have been asking probing questions, with Maul just spitting back venom at them, saying that the time of the Jedi was near it's end, but stonewalling them on any important information.

This. This right here is what I wanted from a prequel review for the longest time. Not something that just yells insults and pseudo intellectual philosophy on film making without a proper, fair evaluation, not something that ignores all the flaws and calls the trilogy a flawless masterpiece that critics were just too stupid to understand. But a fair, level headed review that criticizes the flaws and also gives credit where the credit is due. Good job man, as someone who acknowledges these movies problems but still loves them, I think you did these movies justice.

But yeah the point obviously is that there are flaws and merits to be found across the trilogy and the truth behind the Prequels' quality scale is a lot more nuanced than people will have you believe

I used to think that Revenge of the Sith was the best of the 3 but now it sort of feels like a movie that is desperately trying to tie up all the loose ends that George had forgotten about when he made the phantom menace and Attack of the Clones. I also later came to think, you know who should've been in Episode 1? Owen Lars, that guy talks about Anakin as though he knew the guy reasonably well and they parted on not the best of terms but in Attack of the Clones they barely speak beyond a handshake.

If it were up to me, I wouldn’t have started episode 1 where it did. We didn’t need to see Anakin as a child for so long. Instead, I would’ve set it during his teen years. Also, I know I’m gonna get hate, but I would remove Qui gon entirely. I think he was a bit of a retcon character as he was the one made to find Anakin rather than how Obi Wan was described to find Anakin in the original trilogy. I would’ve gotten rid of him, have Obi Wan find and train Anakin, and also I would’ve made Count Dooku Obi-Wans master. Then he would later find out his old master turned to the dark side and I feel like that would’ve made for a very good arc. Whilst I like the story ideas presented in the prequel films that only dunked because of its terrible execution, TPM is one where I would pretty much do the story completely different.

Do you know that the Star Wars movies (except for Last Jedi) are in reverse order from when the characters appear to how they behave? Also, the locations and consequences reverse order per episode. I realized this when Anakin arrived at 32 minutes of an indoor location in Episode 1 and I said to myself "Didn't Luke arrive at 16 minutes at an outdoor location in Episode 4?" 16X2= 32. Then I realized all the characters and scenarios were in reverse order which is why Jabba the Hut was in the directors cut of New Hope so he can arrive in Episode 1 and the creatures in the bleachers of the pod race are mostly the ones in the bars Obi-Wan and Luke go to in Episode 4. Darth Maul's death reverses Obi-Wan since he was killed by Darth Vader. I watched Episode 4 and realized I was right all along and the opening scene in Episode 1 reverses Episode 4. This is why Obi-Wan appears early in Episode 1 because he was late in 4. Vice versa with C-3PO. Han Solo has the first line of dialogue in Episode V because he was so late in the other two. Notice we hear his voice before seeing his face in V because the opposite happened in the other two. The inside of Darth Vader's spaceship doesn't open Episode V so the other two episodes bookend the trilogy. This is also why V ends inside a spaceship with the characters backs at the audience because the other two end in joy on a planet. The opening of Episode 4 starts with Storm Troopers blasting characters with guns leading to an explosion of black smoke in which the smoke contrasts the white interior of the spaceship and Darth Vader emerges from the smoke. C-3PO appears in the scene. Leia gives a message for help to Obi-Wan. Later, C-3PO and R2-D2 leave the spaceship. Episode 1 opens with four characters approaching the spaceship (including Obi-Wan) where a female version of C-3PO greets them. An explosion occurs where white smoke from another room emerges contrasting the dark interiors of the spaceship. The Jedi's emerge from the smoke and do battle with robots. Queen Amidala gives a message for help. Yoda is a reverse of Obi-Wan since he's also a mentor to Luke, but Yoda's short, non-human and talks backwards. Obi-Wan is tall, human and talks forwards. Notice that the ghost of Obi-Wan appears just after Yoda dies in Episode 6. Obi-Wan has a final lightsaber duel in Episode 4, but not 5 and 6 and Yoda has final lightsaber duels in 2 and 3, but not 1. The two lightsaber duels in Episode 3 towards the end symbolize one episode ends and another begins. Also, they are stalemates for being the middle of the series. The lightsaber duels in 2 and 5 are stalemates for being the middle of each trilogy. There are other layers: Luke is first seen at an outdoor location wearing white clothes in Episode 4, then leaving a cave and entering daylight wearing grey in Episode 5, then inside a cave wearing black in Episode 6. Episode 1 has the Gungan culture where the creatures are hairless tall, thin and speak English. The Wookies in Episode 3 are tall, muscular, hairy and don't speak English. The Ewoks in Episode VI are short, fat, furry and don't speak English either. This symbolizes a beginning, middle and end structure of the creatures in relevance to the 1st, 3rd and 6th Episodes in the series. Leia and Vader have the ability to sense things. They were also discovered by R2-D2 in different ways. R2-D2 shows Luke a hologram of Princess Leia which sends him from Tatooine to free Princess Leia on a spaceship, but brings a spaceship to Tatooine where Anakin appears when he saves the crew. Also, Leia is trying to escape her father Darth Vader without knowing they're related while Anakin is taken away from his mom. Anakin is a successful inventor who created C-3PO which mirrors what he will become: a talking robot. Yet, Luke is first seen trying to fix a robot that is still broken. His aunt and uncle did say after lunch, "He has a lot of his father in him." Anakin's father is mentioned after lunch, too. Anakin losing a dream to free the slaves after being separated from his mom reverses when Luke gained a dream of being a Jedi after his aunt and uncle died. Luke starts out unsure of the direction in his life, but gets better and more focused later on. Anakin has hopes, dreams and focus at first, but loses his way later on. Anakin accidentally blowing up the space console ending the war is a reverse of how Luke destroys the Death Star in Episode IV. Luke was trained and in control of his actions, but Anakin isn't. I discovered all these character reversals on my own and there's many more.

Jar Jar's tongue wasn't an irrelevant interruption- it was an illustration of what Qui-Gon was talking about when he referred to "Jedi instincts." Could have been done differently, but I don't think it was just arbitrary and out of place.

It's worth reading The Secret History of Star Wars by Michael Kaminski. George Lucas' wife, Marcia helped him with most, if not all the dialog in the first Star Wars movie. She convinced him to keep all the humourous bits. She also edited the film and made it awesome.

@@That0therGeorge There were more editors who worked on ANH than just Marcia. The most terrible editing was done by John Jympston, and he was fired by Lucas precisely because of the piss pour job he had done. The final cut was done by Lucas himself, his ex-wife Marcia, Paul Hirsch, and Richard Chew, and they edited the movie exactly the way George asked them to. When they got their Oscar for best editing, during their acceptance speech they said that if there was someone who should have his name engraved on the Oscar statuette for best editing, it was definitely George because he is also a very good editor. Besides, Marcia in person debunked the myth according to which she "saved" the movie in the editing room. While she does say that she helped make some scenes work better and flow more naturally, she maintains that the mastermind behind Star Wars was always George. All the unsubstantiated rumors saying that Lucas is a talentless hack, a fraud who was just smart enough to surround himself with a team of people way more talented that he was, that Gary Kurtz was the real creative genius behind SW, that ANH was saved in the edit, etc. started circulating because some upset fans were mad at Lucas because the Special Editions gradually replaced the original, unaltered versions of the OT. The same upset fans doubled down after the huge disappointment that was TPM, a movie that didn't live up to their expectations. They were so disappointed that they came up with this ludicrous idea that since Lucas was so bent on "destroying" his own creation, then maybe he was not the real creator of Star Wars after all. Most of these rumors are refuted in the excellent books by J.W Rinzler, which are really well-documented.

Attack of the Clones is so weird. So Obi-Wan learns that the clone army was ordered by jedi who died and didn't tell anyone, and he only finds this out by tracking down a dart used by his enemy....yet he doesn't tell anyone about this or investigate further? Then Dooku tells him of a conspiracy involving siths talking over the senate....but doesn't even bother to look into it and just dismisses this and the fact that Dooku and the guy who provided the genes for the clones know each other. I get what they were going for, Lucas probably wanted the jedis to come off as arrogant and thus giving a more ambigious reason for their fall. But the problem is that Kenobi is so arrogant here that it just comes across as stupid, and the story just doesn't work when the heroes are this bad at their job, why are supposed to feel sad when they die?

@@That0therGeorge Yeah, just a detail :) I think it's interesting because we see how Palpatine is manipulating everyone, all along the way, even good, and smart people like the Jedi, and Padme. Also that because he is so good at planning, he has contingencies for his contingences. and this is what people don't get in his plans in AOTC where it seems like their contradictory, when no, it's just when one part doesn't work, he's on to the next. Where the outcome is invariable heads he wins, tails you lose. And so we see the beginnings of the evitable fall of the Republic, and Jedi from his actions, and how he operates in TPM. And that's why his taking out Valorum in TPM is good show, don't tell of how Palpatine operates, and how he was successful in destroying the Republic from the inside, and showing, not telling us, how blind the Jedi were to him and the Sith.

Personally loved the prequels, funnily enough the revenge of the sith came out the same year i was born, and it is my favourite star wars film. The clone wars is my favourite star wars content, the clones are so interesting in a genius way. They found a way to make clones, literally identical people, same voices, same face, hair etc. and gave the, ALL a unique personality in some way. Cody and Rex’s relationship is a sad one when you think of it. Rex was apart of anakins battalion, but unlike anakin. He got out of the brainwashing/darkside, meanwhile cody, unfortunately didn’t. And obi wan was a jedi to the end. I think what makes it worse is the fact the clones are sentient and have a conscious about everything, comfirmed when rex apologised to ahsoka after his chip was removed, it’s disturbing to imagine cody possibly thinking about how he just killed his general, friend and leader. i hope in bad batch S2 they can save him, or atleast have rex reunite with him.

YOO MAN!!!! That was such a well thought out and amazing video!!! I loved how you explored the Star Wars prequel trilogy’s strengths and flaws!! As a Star Wars fan, I have always loved the Original and Prequel trilogy. Although I do think the Original Trilogy is classic as a whole, I still have a lot of respect for the Prequel trilogy as well. Yes, they are not as perfect as the Originals. Like you said, there are some awkward dialogue scenes, brief plot issues, and some unnecessary CGI in scenes. However, I do love how the ideas of George Lucas are explored into a journey leading to Luke Skywalker’s journey and era. He is truly able to tell complex stories with hidden layers and poetry which is what makes the story structure very interesting. From what the prequels have done, it makes me love Star Wars way way more! Every time I finish Revenge of the Sith, I automatically want to watch A New Hope next. Star Wars is definitely a franchise that belongs to Lucas as he was the mastermind behind all of our favorite moments. People were super harsh on these movies and I honestly don’t think it was that fair. As a film lover, I learn way more about filmmaking from rewatching the Prequels. I learn what writing choices are beneficial or harmful and how to be as creative as I can. They are not perfect but they do have the best connection to the Original Trilogy!! Fantastic video George!!!!!

This is a rather enjoyable and well-made video I have to say about it. I do very much agree that certain elements within the trilogy-namely the dialogue and the presence of certain characters- could’ve been done MUCH better. However, there are many aspects that I’ve come to appreciate and enjoy even discarding the nostalgia I feel about this trilogy, because believe me, I do considering I did grow up with it. The thematic and political elements, contrary to what many people say, really make the films for me, especially considering the vast scale of palpatines plan. In truth, I really do think the expanded depth they gave to Palpatine as this Machiavellian figure (and honestly a contender for the best villain in a series full of stellar villains-Tv shows included) as one of the core strengths of the prequels. As for the thematic elements, the story of the prequels essentially being, and this is a quote from another youtube channel, “An arrogant religion who gets ahold of the messiah and accidentally hands him over to the devil” is very enjoyable to say the least, and I do believe that it is executed well in practice, especially since the movies showed the Jedi order in their flaws with their strict and hypocritical dogmatic ways, particularly with mace windu, who I find to be the most egregious example of the flaws in the order. I do also understand anakins own fall to the dark side and think it makes sense since the seeds of mistrust between him and the Jedi council were there from the very beginning and the fact that Anakin had no father figure to look to since the potential candidate for that role, Qui Gon, was gone, and now was open to influence from the likes of someone like palpatine. looking at TPM, I honestly felt myself enjoying the film even more upon further rewatchings, specifically the character of Qui Gon contrary to what you stated. His interactions with Anakin gave it somewhat of a father-son dynamic that I enjoyed, and Dave Filoni’s statement regarding his and Obi Wans duel with Maul completely revamped the meaning of said duel and what it meant for the prequels. Lastly, while I did say that the dialogue was one of the worst things about the prequels, the sheer campiness of some, not all, of the lines makes me enjoy them more with how hilarious they can be. Particularly the lines from Obi-Wan and Palpatine are obvious examples, and to a lesser extent Dooku. There are also other aspects that I haven’t mentioned-such as how other forms of media have been additive in what they’ve done for the prequels (i.e. the 2008 clone wars really improving the fall of Anakin) but I’ve rambled on for long enough! Great video!

Hey, I agree with a lot of the ideas that you have in this video, mainly dialogue bits and Jar Jar(as much as I love Star Wars there’s no defending him), but I disagree on how you talked about the cgi used in the films. I personally feel that the cgi for the most part, excluding some bits from the Phantom Menace, looks great and actually holds up well today. These movies are without a doubt a part in what pushed VFX to what they’ve become today. Also, I feel like you kind of skip over some bits and pieces here and there such as the score and sound design, but also some interesting character dialogue, such as the ending scenes in AOTC between Dooku and Palpatine and Yoda talking with the Jedi council. It makes you come across as slightly biased against these movies, but I truly believe that wasn’t your intent and that you just wanted to share your opinions on an increasingly divisive trilogy. Anyway, great video!

Hey Aiden, thank you for the feedback! Got a few questions and responses though, which will hopefully make me understand your points a little better. - Yeah man the dialogue & Jar Jar aren't very good, I feel like even most Prequel fans will agree on that & at least we got some fantastic memes. - To be honest I feel like I was way more fair on the CGI than most other critics on RU-vid. I purposely made the distinction between actors being on set with a green screen backdrop looking bad and the use of space battles, the pod race scene etc looking good because of the care taken to craft them well. I still feel like my take on the CGI is pretty fair. - So I did mention how good the music was with like the scenes including "duel of the fates", but my video focuses mainly on writing and visual presentation. I appreciate the music a lot but aside from saying it's really good I don't feel like there's a whole lot of detail to go in about it. You're not wrong with this point, but for the sake of avoiding repetition and staying on track with the story I feel like it was better left out of the video. - Again like with the previous point I only go into detail if I have a lot to add, I think I did acknowledge Palp talking to Dooku, but I didn't have much of an opinion on their interactions so I didn't really feel the need to go in-depth on it. I also disagree that I'm biased towards these films, I feel that I had a fairly neutral approach to all 3, but I guess that's more down to the interpretation of the viewer. Thank you again for the feedback Aiden, if I misunderstood any of your points here then please let me know. I wanna tackle the Originals and Sequels in the future so I'll take on board all criticism to make sure those projects are as good as they can be :)

I don't personally care about the bad cringy dialogue with Anakin falling in love with Padme because most films can't portray a love story correctly anyway (the Anakin Padme stuff is worse though). I can only think of one Disney animated movie where a love story doesn't feel unrealistic. Pixar: some of their stories don't have a love story but the ones that don't feel real. I can only really speak for Pixar and Disney because I only watch those apart from some dream works movies which I can actually think of 1 of those movies that have a realistic love story. I agree with TPM being the weakest but as soon as you compared the romance of AOTC to La La Land you absolutely lost me *sighs* this is the point ppl absolutely miss. Not all romances r the same, there r sub-genres Han & Leia’s, La La Land’s or Scott Pilgrim’s is a Contemporary Romance, this sub-genre started to be most noticeable since the 50s, it focuses primarily on the romantic relationship. Is also characterized for having a modern setting, language and diction. That’s why it shouldn’t be a surprise at all that is quite appealing for almost everyone as it is the type of romance you’ll find in about any type of romantical nowadays is the classic Hollywoodian-like contemporary romance, On the other hand however, Anakin and Padmé’s is heavily influenced over the flip of the coin, the other side & a vastly different sub-genre, the “Historical Romances” or classical love stories. Though just like contemporary romances it will focus primarily on the romantic relationship it also has some obvious changes like a dated setting, language and diction or characters not occupying roles not found in common society (for example a knight). This kind of sub-genre were founded prior the 50s meaning that nowadays is rather a dated sub-genre really hard to encounter in the medium, what you call awkward is just dared & unconventional. You don’t need to fo as far as to Doctor Zhivago for example & you’ll find about the same settings and use of dialogue displayed I could ramble more over several nuances Lucas took, Romeo & Juliet, Casablanca are some nuances you could but I’ll just leave this here... the comparison is inaccurate is as if I’m gonna compare Silence of the Lambs to Se7en that while both could be paired pretty similarly r different genres. Silence of the Lambs plays more with the horror one & Se7en with the elements of a thriller

Original trilogy is perfect.. Obi-wan Vader fight, return of the Jedi. I am fan of 6 star wars films. I like prequels. most of my friends do like them. I don't get your point about romance. Anakin does not know how to interact. I don't get point about Yoda. He changed over the years

Yes, they were THAT bad and still are. Shit dialogue. Shit acting. Shit story arc. Shit CGI. Just shit all around. The only way people defend them is by attacking the sequels (which also suck)

I think it’s ok to enjoy them, especially from the perspective of a Star Wars fan. But I took me a while to look at them at a more objective filmmaking perspective and I completely agree with you. I’ll always like them, but they will always be inferior to the originals

I totally agree with your opinions about the trilogy While some points seem nitpicky, personally I love the movies definitely not as much as the OT but Anakin and Obi-war are far more interesting characters than Luke and Leia, a lot of people tell me that the reason people like the prequels os either because of nostalgia or because the sequels are worse. But I haven't watched the sequels yet, and I just watched the first 6 movies and rogue one this year, so that point goes out of the window. Hope the sequels aren't as bad people say they're. Edit: also the video is very well edited, hope you get more views!

Thank you very much dude! I'm currently editing my "Force Awakens" review right now actually, so let me know what you think of the Sequels once you've watched them. I prefer Obi-Wan over the characters from the Originals, I like Anakin too, but not as much by comparison. Thanks again for the kind words and I hope to see you about in the future

I miss when people unanimously hated these things because honestly it feels like most of the people that claim to love them have never seen them before in their lives and just go with what the memes and other people online tell them

Yeah I grew up w both prequels and original but I always loved the prequels growing up. I recognize the faults of the movies but still enjoy them. I think it started out as then being “slept on” or “overlooked” then turned into kinda overrated

Honestly i have no problem with the prequels because the clone wars show fixes alot of the issues for me.

Fair enough, what exactly does the Clone Wars fix for you?

@@That0therGeorge anakins slow turn to the dark side, can see bits of it throughout the show. Gives the clones personality which makes order 66 hit harder. Makes the romance between anakin and padme a bit better. Makes Maul one of the best villains and expands on his charecter.Of course it can't fix the bad acting or odd line deliveries but overall I think it makes the prequel trilogy much more enjoyable

@@ACertainReviewer Yeah that's an excellent point. The shift in "Revenge of the Sith" was way too quick for my liking, really needed to be expounded upon with a bit more depth

You used one of the best quotes from the movie as an example of bad dialogue 🤨
