I'm curious. I noticed in the finished photos that the crepe hair is shiny, is there a way to slightly matte the shine? And would this be done after the effect is created, or possibly before application? Great FX by the way :) :P
Its mentioned at the beginning of the video, or you can find a link on our channel, or you can google Nimba Creations - youtube won't let us post links here!
You know it's a really well done and blended makeup when half way through I completely forget the model is wearing a prosthetic piece and actually believe he looks like that naturally! Yes, I did have a bit of a mental blank but only because the piece blended soo well! :) haha x
Hi, I’m hoping to do this look on my husband this Halloween. Two questions; how many pieces of crepe hair do I need and how long did it take to apply the hair to the face please. Thank you 😊
I have probably a overly simple question: When laying hair, to build a thick coat, can you pay a first "draft" then apply more Spirit Gum and another layer on hair over too? or would the first layer of hair simple mat up and become unsightly? Thank you!
You used 'spirit gum' for the hair. Could you just use the same adhesive you used on the prosthetics or is spirit gum better for the hair application (some of this is a bit new to me). I think I'm ordering this stuff for this Halloween!
We also have a reusable silicone version that covers more of the face and might work even better :) www.nimbacreations.com/product/silicone-werewolf-reusable-prosthetic/
Hi. It is a very good tutorial. I would like to see one in which you make the characterization of "beast" of the movie Beauty and the Beast. Thanks and successes.
Hey Nimba Creations, so on your site it says that you don't recommend customers re-using prosthetics, including this one. But I was just wondering, if I do plan to re-use the prosthetic, how do I keep it well preserved?
@nimbacreations Lame question...I received my prosthetics...what method do you use to cut out the nostrils...what is the best tool for that...man, you guys do amazing work!
kipkay is this excellent channel on youtube where this awesome guy shows us all these household hacks :) he liked your video, which is why all his subscribers came to check this video out. P.s great video!
Kip Kay is a writer for Make magazine and also has a RU-vid channel that is dedicated to DIY creations and hacks with fairly common items. A lot of his stuff is pretty goofy and/or fun.
