The problem is he has amazing composition but not the most complex technique and speed hence the lack of it compared to other guitarists that can play 10x more complex (not necessarily better sounding) than him
@@mazscsu yes,I have seen that most of current guitarist are like clowns in a circus, all is about who can do more stupid things even with a shitty sound
@@mazscsu Wes admitted that he's not very fast and he doesn't do extended solos for that very reason. He's a man that knows his strengths and weaknesses but still pushes himself to be GREAT in the areas where God gave him that extra talent we don't possess! Also, I commend the entire band for not letting drugs and alcohol ruin themselves, their band and their families. Good for all of L.B. I think their, dare I say wholesomeness, compared to most other bands, is why the industry really hated them deep down. They were confident, mostly pleasant, and laser focused, and totally unwilling to conform to what the "Critics" and Industry leaders wanted them to do, say and play. It has nothing to do with what happened at Woodstock and nothing to do with Fred being a jerk all of the day, well, most of the time. They would not bend so they became hated. Good for L.B.
I don’t know why but for some reason this song always reminds me of the soul of Limp Bizkit leaving the band in 2001. It’s kinda like a weird funeral to a piece of the group or something.
