This guy & Tim Burton are like geniuses I love horror movies & even though Wes Craven did slasher movies he was a huge inspiration to me r i p man you inspired me big time in the horror genre . Nightmare on Elm Street will always be the movie for me from Wes Craven.
I remember the day Wes Craven passed. I wish i could some how tell him that what he does really is art. And that he's affected so many people. He is my my all time favorite horror film director. I wish I could have met him and told him his filmography which too me is the greatest of all masters of horror, amounted to more than a hill of beans. I love you Wesley Earl Craven.
He gave me films that I grew to cherish! I love a nightmare on elm street and scream and people under the stairs. I also loved new nightmare the most! God he was and is a artist to me!
I'm French.. France and French people had always loved Wes Craven. I've always loved him since my childhood, cause he scared me with his movies. A In the eightee's, Avoriaz always named Wes Craven for his movies and always loved him. France and French people always loved him since ever and Avoriaz too. A Wes Craven's French fan..
Most of his films are amazing. Scream is My favorite movie. The people under the stairs is one of the most original movies i have ever seen. Defenetly one of the best filmakers ever.
I think people forget about Red Eye of all his major movies, when that one is the most rightening and intense to me. Considering the idea of taking fear to an airplane and the way everything pulls together. I just think people overate other movies over Red Eye, and it's def one of my favs.
Ain't that cool? In the course of this interview, Craven brought up a trip to Africa and the things and ideas he brought back with him to the States. I would hope anyone would feel he is a thoughtful man. I know I do. Also, his strict religious childhood and teen years as well as a father with a horrible temper probably provided ample ammunition in making a movie like last house on the left in the 1970s
Not trying to insult the man or anything.. but why is it every time I see Wes Craven.. I think of the wolf man or those 1940s-50s styles how they sorta did the wolfman.. except without the tan lol.

Ok look, if you can go out and prove that you can better Wes Craven, then you can slander him with credibility. Until then you're just someone who doesn't like his films.
