Deuteronomy 22:5 reads the same in every version, and regardless of how its twisted to mean "war clothes" or "weapons" or a "warrior's habit" it STILL means the other part of what it says. At least accordingly to every version of the Bible in existence AND the Dead Sea scrolls.
I can't believe y'all complaining about what the people are wearing. Pant suits or Church Dress Attire it's all appropriate in the church. Don't be so ignorant on what people wear. If these are praising our Lord and Savoir, then we should all be good.

Lol, that ain't hating, that's calling it for what it is. It's possible to do it in spite, but if no one says anything and everyone just watches on, it becomes the norm. Thank God for people with the courage to call "mess" for what it is.
First of all, I believe in fact I know the word of God says come as u r so with that been said, if a lady is wearing pants then that's fine we should focus on getting that soul saved rather than what ppl r wearing we as christian need to stop judging folks all the time..

And it won't. Churches need to be MORE concerned about saving souls; not what someone has on because when that person's heart is changed, it'll reflect the outside. Can these denominations please get their priorities together.

With no hard feelings, that's only a feel-good doctrine. It's not Biblical, and here's why. Adam and Eve covered themselves with leaves, but God gave them furs. Exodus has a lengthy list of holy garments. (For the priests, but relevant because the 1 Peter 2 calls us a royal PRIESThood.) 1 Timothy talks about dressing in modest apparel. God cares what we wear on the outside. If He didn't, He wouldn't have made it such a point to let us know. Plus, what's on the inside reflects outward. :)
Folks keep saying the bible says come as you are. That is not true. That is NOT found in scripture or the bible. The script is clear. Woment should NOT wear those things that pretain to a man and man should NOT wear those things that pretain to a man. The standard of holiness is from the bible not societal dictates. We need to get back to the old and true way that brought us and NOT the way of the world. Holiness is a standard that also includes how one dresses.
So you say ignore the entire old testament? Its the LAW that we under grace are no longer under. Meaning, God's covenant between ISRAEL and himself. At no point does it say that a man couldn't shave his hair or beard. I assume here you are using Leviticus 19 probably NIV wrongly and out of context. The only men in the OT who didn't cut their hair were the Narizites, who were specially conditioned servants of God. Its pretty clear that arguing scripture here is a fruitless venture.
But I am sure if you find a woman pants, you will not call it a man pants.They are not the same no matter what; that does not make woman looks like man.What would you said about shirts?
