your talking as someone with a understanding of the world and proberly alittle older also. When you have noone and everything you know is this then it's different. Lets say your a famous RU-vidr since like 11 years old you might find it confusingwhy ppl go to work for 60 hours a week just to make 60k a year when you make that in 2 weeks and do whatever you want. It just depends on how you was rasied
As a former Baltimore resident, I am happy to see that some of those young men want to move out of Bmore. Leaving that city is one of the best things I ever did. That place is falling apart.
Bmore is a interesting city man. I’m from DC but worked there a lot and got cousins out there. Notice these cats are friendly and respectful and wasn’t acting like they’re the hardest and they know it’s real and trenches in a lot of cities. It’s charm city for real but then it’s also the straight gutter and they don’t play games
Even tho they weren't aggravating or anything like that it was still depressing. All chaotically talking over each other like drunk people do. I understand that poverty drastically reduces educational achievements but still.. not a crowd you'd want to see your kids hanging out with and that's saying it all.
Crazy observation and I agree. I'm from PA. Most my family lives in Bmore. I always said the people are super nice. Just don't be at the wrong places at the wrong times.
@@JustSomeGuyLV don't be stupid. they're a bunch of boys hanging. they will always talk over each other. it's a universal thing among men, even women. you point a camera at a bunch of kids hanging out they all act the same way. just different accents, different clothing.
Symptoms of a broken system rooted in racism and dirty scum bag politicians. Im from SE DC born and raised and its the same shit. But the positivity and comradery these young men show is on a level youll never be able to understand. Do what you have to do to survive in areas like that. PERIOD. The man literally said "not everybody a killer" and the word "hustler" doesnt strictly mean selling drugs. Billions of different hustles. Judging youth that literally said "we dont have any OG's to guide us, we guide each other" is something you wouldnt understand. They can rise above the bullshit and do great things, but people like you who shame people cuz of an environment theyre in implying theyre one of the showing signs of "a sick society" are the reason 95% of these smart young men DONT make it out. They didnt choose to be born and raised here. Some of them could have mothers on drugs and from a young age be forced to make a way. Thats not something they choose. I know cuz i grew up in an area exactly the same and had a single mother with mutiple siblings and did the exact same thing these guys are doing. The "Sick Society" could get better and be a beautiful place if we didnt have people looking down on others based on what they see in a fuckin video. "Sadly" nah whats sad is the fact you made predetermined assumptions and judgements of these individuals based on a life they didnt ask to be given.
@@Skateandcreate9 Let me guess it was some rant blaming the people instead of the corrupt system then that same dude probably wonders why nothing changes
Baltimore could have been a Black Mecca honestly speaking. Need to get the corruptness and poison out of the community. So sad and disappointing...Sociopolitical/economic issues that have to be fixed.
This is my old hood . I lived down the street from there. This is where legends at and penn Ave and upton station. I miss this hood . One thing about them . They respectful, but with the shits. Always out enjoying themselves.
That's a FACT!! I live in the country. Used to love going in the city to shop at Mondawmin, visit family, and grab a chicken box on my way out. It's more dangerous now than ever. I don't even like going to the harbor or Little Italy for dinner anymore. Too many innocent people catching strays, getting robbed, stabbed, or beat up for no reason. So I just stay from down there. It's really sad because I love Baltimore.
Legit as a white boy growing up in West Baltimore that’s the way the people are now you go down south and it’s totally different when we move down to Cherry Hill area I got robbed at gunpoint for my shoes on the first day I’m 53 now for reference you boys hit me up move out to Vegas it’s easy money. Out here
Moved to Baltimore like 3 months ago, everyone rocks w/ the neighborhood but you gotta stay sharp at night. Some kid got his Glock on me on his baby's first robbery type shit at 7pm on a well-lit street. Wrong time wrong place I guess
I’ve lived in Md for 24 years. Baltimore is one place I would never ever consider living in if I went broke. I’ll take the mountains of Pa or Cumberland before ever living in Bmore. It’s just to dangerous and unpredictable
Any cities where manufacturing jobs went overseas, this is what you get. People leave, buildings abandoned and falling apart, no community left of working class people. Crime moves in wherever you have the poor. Detroit, Philly, Bmore, Gary, St. Louis, Chicago, all the same society ills.
Along with government within the city not fixing it nor does the tax base exist. These boys did not create these ghettos and if maybe, just maybe blacks would have received their reparations life would have been different for many generations. We have always been tethered to the bottom, by strategic design that is.
Hey look i found another tribalist stooge ripe for the picking! Voting for people part of a system that actively works against their own working class interests Lmao Both parties love the common man fighting about party affiliation with their fellow peasants. You’re doing great work for the establishment Brian!
That one dude a real street dude. He said nah I don’t do social media that can cost you your life. All these internet gangsters tryna be so hard on ig but real street dudes don’t gotta try to act hard and most of em don’t even use ig
Crazy. I was born there. Glad my mom decided to get tf out as soon as I was born. My dad got stuck there until I was about 18. Had to work his way out to the suburbs by keeping to himself and saving money driving trucks. From the stories he told me, that place is literally hell. My dad has zero connections to anyone in baltimore. Guess that loner life is what you have to do to get out of there
@@fdre3wsd definitely agreed i wish that too especially since i can relate growing up in Chicago majority wants to change but it’s always something that pulls them right back to that lifestyle
I'm white, I walk around Upton, Fulton Ave, Penn and north, east bmore. At night, during the day, I've never been robbed. Ever. By myself or with others
I’m from PG and it’s always been beef with PG, DC and Bmore. I use to work for DJS and that beef was alive and well on the units. I will say Bmore cats showed the upmost respect to the female officers. I always got along with all the youth on my unit but the Bmore cats showed me just as much love as the PG and DC dudes.
@@shannonwilson6216 not to familiar with those institutions I was only in the juvenile system for about 2-3 years mainly group homes around Baltimore and pg. I will say it took me a good 10-12 years to turn my life around after group homes, institutions, army, homelessness, 2 years in Baltimore county jail, rehabs, addiction. I definitely learned the hard way and now move real militant and disciplined. I can read people real well, know how to handle myself real well because I had no choice but to learn. I blame indoctrination from Hollywood to bad music, our leadership and the whole system in general because it’s just a big cycle of destruction and people making a full 360 profit $. But mainly myself because it was just bad choices.
@@shannonwilson6216 I was in a group home with someone who was placed out there for about a year. It was called ( ___) mountain I just can’t remember the exact name. I know it was no joke though , uniforms , boots , barbed wire etc. they also had a boot camp type of military school by my armory up in Harford county in Edgewood. This is the right approach in my opinion. Court referral to a boot camp if your 16 17 complete it with success than sign up for real military or go to trade school none of that social work, sleep in jail all day crap. Younger folks just need to be around real leaders.
Seriously this area looks sketchy but it is TRULY filled with some good people that just looking to survive the only thing at they know how and to have a good time… I absolutely HATE how the media portrays that if u go there, u are gonna get shot! U will not get shot UNLESS you rob someone or get caught up in something dumb… i
What's always funny in every hood I see is the county or state or whoever has just enough care to make sure the street signs are there and the light poles are working. Everything else, they just say fuck it
I'm born and raised in Baltimore Maryland. Anyways. Yeah and my mom was a hustler back then and she was a Christian. Me and my brother was a baby and we just live my grand aunty house from westside Saratoga street to Baltimore county maryland. Now! Me and brother was living in the county area of catonsville now.
I think I appreciate these types of videos that actually converse with the community. Black America is already exploited, and overexposed so this was refreshing.
