Track Time Hobbies, Bakersfield, CA. This race is a good one to attend and that I would’ve like to had attended but my gear isn’t up to par with them and probably my racing either at this time. We come say hello to some old friends. A few we hadn’t seen in years but didn’t get it on camera. We also saw Team X-ray, and Team Associated in the house. We watched a bit of practice but the real racing is on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe in the future we can get our stuff together and hit the track again. Not sure if I miss the racing more than hanging out with my friends.

I haven’t raced since the pandemic started. Still love it but I think I miss my friends more than the racing.

I saw your video about your set up to inflate your tires it was very impressive how you have it. This is so cool the racing cars . I bet it requires a lot of money and time but the reward is awesome 👍. Any word on Azuza canyon being drained ? Thank you for your videos

Hey John, thanks for the comment on the on board air. it is something we’ve done since I started off-roading in the 80s. Everyone now looks for an easy way, which is buying the 12v compressors online. Not as strong or durable. The R/C racing is fun as I’ve done it for years too but stopped during the pandemic. It does get expensive to stay competitive but not as much just to go race for fun. The 4x4 can still be more expensive unless you have a fairly stock truck that doesn’t break many parts. As far as Azusa goes. Once the water subsides at the first river crossing they’ll reopen. The ranger and sheriff stock vehicles need to be able to cross the river in order to reopen. Once they can we’ll be there. Thanks for your support and watching the videos. 🙂
