Walking along the route of Paardenbaai during sunset hour is really fantastic. It’s one of my favorite walks to do in the evening. 👍🏻

Hi Hyro ,back in 2003 , I came to Aruba to work on the Coastal Refinery. I enjoy it alot ,it has changed up alot since then .am retired now so hope to visit again soon. Your site keeps me connected to the feeling I had when I was there . Beautiful island and friendly people. Keep up your good work

Love your videos love Aruba you’re a wonderful family and a pleasure to watch. I heard someone mention in your group the Holiday Inn I remembered well from the early 70s along with the basi ruti And, the Aruba Caribbean hotel before it became a Hilton and something else there were no Marriott there were just three hotels in Palm Beach. It was Paradise for someone from the north crowded with people and looking to get away from people. And the brutal winters and God bless Aruba and it’s wonderful people. It gave that to us at one point I never thought I would stay at the Holiday Inn after being at the Aruba Caribbean. but now that I am 79 years old and thinking about coming back to Aruba for the first time in 10 years I think it’s going to be the Holiday Inn for me because it has the vibe and the nostalgia that I’m looking for I don’t need the white hotel with the spires on it that part of it used to be the Sheraton that I stayed in so many years ago and loved unfortunately they changed it and as far as I’m concerned, they ruined it. The Holiday Inn is probably going to be my choice. Thank you Hydro for all you do and thank you for being you.

Hello Hyro, Thank you for the informative videos. We will be traveling to Aruba soon. I was wondering if I could find a store that sells Thermacell butane for mosquitos. Thank you in advance for your reply.

The beaches near the hotels are obviously much nicer, but the beach here is totally fine. Depending on where you are, you might not have a lot of space to put down your gear, but the water itself is perfectly fine here and like Hyro said being right in the capitol it's a perfect place to take a quick dip. Very easy access if you are staying in the capitol and don't want to take a car or public transport to the beaches at the hotel. And the beach and water at Surfside itself is even better, can easily compete with the beaches near the hotels.
