Magical songs that make us cry. The West End Brits have captured the spirit of the original Jersey Boys. Bob Gaudio, the soft spoken brains of the original Four Seasons, grew up in Bergenfield, N J. The others came from Belleville and Newark. They are legends of New Jersey, like Sinatra and Springsteen. They came from working class families and invented their own music. Bob composed the top hits. His songs have great vocal harmonies, melodies and lyrics that express that love and appreciation that bonds men to women. Bob Gaudio and Frankie Valli knew they were special and never let us down for so many years. Their songs transcend all races, backgrounds and generations.
They have the original 4 Seasons moves down pat!! Amazing talent that sounds identical to the original singers. What a legendary group Frankie Valli and The 4 Seasons were. Fabulous then and still a great sound!
Saw this exact cast when I went to see the show in December 2016 and was amazed. Buying the tickets weren't my idea and I didn't really wanna see it but I'm so glad I did, real eye opener. And I had an awkward crush for the one on the right end.. got a huge obsession with their songs now, took a couple months to learn all their songs ❤️
@jessicanutman4829 did you enjoy show I agree they learn songs all ready I don't know they doing show in Austraila yet I have to wait to return to uk very soon.
I grew up in the 50's and 60's and loved their music. I saw it twice, once on Broadway in N.Y. and once in a traveling performance. Both were Great. It inspired me to purchase the DVD. Can't get enough of it.
Jersey boys never ceases to amaze me, even after 8 years. Ryan Molloy, John lee, Michael Watson, Sandy Moffat and the one and only Matt Corner, wow what a great set of Frankie Valli's. Long live Jersey boys!
.mark Ballas from DWTS was in one of the touring group of Jersey Boys singing the part of Frankie Valli. I have tried to find video of his group but with no luck. I was lucky enough to see Jersey Boys with my grown son who took me. Then a year later he took me to see Frankie Valli and the 4 seasons in concert. What a gift to ME in my 70's...🎶🎤🎶
Sherry is my favorite song of recent date. But I like nother songs too! Everything is fantastic! I’m not good at English. I apologize if there are mistakes in my English writing.
What's with looking like a greased non care person. They want big homes, fancy cars while being contrary to neat, clean appearance. Perhaps while they're exercising those credit cards, they'll get tattoos / green purple/ orange hair to be noticed, so as to make themselves standout from others.
To me the they are all amazing, however the best cast for me will always be the original four Ryan,Stephen,Glen and Phil cant believe its been 8 years since I first saw "Jersey Boys " and yes "what a Night"
Great medley of songs and dancers in white satin to spice things up. That center dancer with black hair, her movements are spot-on. Love that dancing and the whole cast in this production. The Four Seasons continue to get new recognition they deserve. From the 1960's to the 1970's when the Seasons sold millions of records they were over-shadowed by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Beach Boys, BeeGees, and others. The critics dissed their music as just love serenades and not avant-garde to merit top recognition. I guess new generations find their music refreshing since the musical is still playing world wide.
I find the “West End Jersey Boys” cast best in overall presentation, singing and dancing. I just love their performance of “Oh What A Night” especially the choreographed dancers cranking up the energy level. The middle “black haired” dancer is absolute perfection. Her moves definitely burn brighter than the others. Now, that’s a lovely woman and I don’t even know her name.
That's Lucinda Gill, she'd been with the London cast from the start, met her husband whilst in the show with him, Mark Isherwood. He was initially swing, but now they revived it on the West End, he plays Gyp DeCarlo.
Franki Valli himself was on a morning TV show in England and stated his favourite cast was the West End cast with Ryan Molloy, even better than the original Broadway cast.
Never seen the show live, but have seen many casts perform this number online, and this is the best. This group does seem to have the sound of the Four Seasons down pat. My only complaint is the placement of the speakers which obscures the view of those delicious dancers.
Cuando la música es de clase nunca envejece solo se vuelve un clásico por eso se oye más lindo con el transcurrir de los años y se siente como leyenda... Gracias Jersey Boys por traer estas joyas...las chicas superlindas y geniales.
