Club Captain Lascelles blatantly at fault for West Ham's first. Switched off and didn't track the run by Paqueta till too late. Needs to be more focused or else he'll be back on the bench again SOON
Trippier is waaay too good. The first goal we conceded, he told Lascelles to go back but Lascelles didn't track back fast enough. That defending foresight, not to mention his assists were class asf
Greater insight might have been to track the run himself and leave Lascelles to deal with Antonio. Nobody really covered themselves in glory defending that goal.
Great goals from Isak especially the second one, perfect delivery from Kieran Trippier to the right side, direct volley to Isak and Isak perfectly made his second goal with his perfect volley. Awesome.
Well played the Geordie boys! Always a good competitive match and great atmosphere when we play you lads. All the best for the rest of the campaign from a happy Hammer ⚒️
Anderson has so many things to learn and he should not try to focus himself but the team instead. And Pope's performance is just not as stable as last year, its cruel but real that we need a class GK
This. I’m confused Anderson thinks he’s good enough for England, for me he wouldn’t get in the Scotland team. Plays like ASM just dribbling to no man’s land. And was at fault for 2nd goal
Nice game by Isak. But he needs to work on his 1v1. He missed a similar chance in the previous game with only the keeper to beat. I'm rooting for him though.
Awakenbeerus is on fire, shutting down betting sites left and right with his spot-on predictions. He even called the outcome of this before the event even happened
Best Is Yet To Be! Up Up And Beyond. Great Play. Well Played. Keep Playing. Nearly A Hattrick. Close For A Comeback Win. But Always A Committed Showing Again. Thank You All You Heartworking Lads Out There Today. HTL
Pope needs to do better for both goals imo. Isak unlucky with the 3rd, keeper forced him wider than he would have liked to have been taking that shot from. Decent result though considering the conjestion of fixtures. Gordon, Joelinton, Barnes, Willock and Botman missing from the starting 11 aswell.
Lascelles lack of understanding basic defending, cost us the first goal, forcing pope to rush out of goal where he should have stayed in, Trippier shouting at Lascelles to get back, and he didn't. He tries but he is simply not good enough, and never was. Shame we are forced to use him, although he was good vs PSG but he has so many limitations to his game.
Agree with @@dennisnielsen4289 about it actually being Lascelles at fault rather than Pope. I also think Isak should have put the ball to the right of their keeper fractionally before he was forced wide so, rather than it being about 'luck', I think it was a lack of experience that I'd expect Isak will learn from.
@@dennisnielsen4289 Trippier even telling him where to go/mark before the ball was sent..he didnt listen nor move and it resulted in the exact thing trippier and everyone else expected to happen..a goal Clown "defending"
@@KhqraAgreed 100% What an embarrassment for the CLUB CAPTAIN being told by his Team CAPTAIN what to do before calamity occured, Jamaal failed to react in time and showed once again his limitations as a top defender
Kudus what a gem.Newcastle should have purchased him. Moyes is a big shame as a manager. Killing players confidence by benching them starting players like Antonio and Soucek.
Here I am thinking all scorers get the hug at least by the nearest 2 or 3 players. Isak scores, and Burn gets the longest hug. Let's see what happens in future games.
The commentators are so biased, they claim the West Ham defenders wanted an offside rule by the officials on that second New Castle goal. But I'm sure, at the back of their minds, they know the defenders were protesting a shove by Isak at their Centre Back, before he poked the ball into the goal. Isak is a good player, but like Thierry Henry, he has that "bent as a nine bob note" look in his eyes.
West ham are really improving but need to keep investing in the squad they could be a real power house in London they’ve certainly got the support with stadium capacity increase to 67k They have the best support in LONDON no question !!!
I was more impressed by the performance that game schedule was way harsh for the players (and going to be more difficult for NC in the future), but we made decent scores, and saw possibility for better games. GO NEWCASTLE!!!!!
Newcastle were lucky that Bruno wasn’t sent off and got away with a draw after a great save at the death by pope!!! Two very good sides both proper football clubs with great support was a very enjoyable match to watch ! I hope both teams finish in the top six this season they certainly deserve to.
Yes we were and we got away with one. Overall the result is fair considering we could have been playing with 10 and truly hammered given our energy levels and confidence. Good luck to the irons, and Mikael Antonio I am sure he will banter Callum for being on the bench.
@@johnsilver613 good luck to the Geordie’s I have a lot of respect for your fans! I was walking back to the station on Sunday with the Geordie fans and we were chatting about past games we had played against each other !!!
And Lascelles better for the first goal, pope should not have rushed out. Tonali is still adapting to the premier league, I think Eddie would have preferred to ease him in like he did with Bruno almost two years ago but he is forced to throw him Right in there, I'm sure he will come good.
It was one of the only draws I've ever been happy with..i think we were the better team but the results don't prove that. Well played to the hammers. If not for that damn keeper lad and their other 10 players we would have won this game 🏴🏳️🏴🏳️🏴🏳️ HOWAY THE LADS 🤙⬛⬜⬛⬜⬛⬜⬛⬜⬛⬜⬛⬜
The first one was a free kick to WH and the 2nd was a puh, even Isak looks sheepishly at the ref and doesn't really celebrate properly. Even with 12 Newcastle couldn't win
okay this has to be said. Anderson is the clubs very own and all but he scored in the pre season dosen't mean he has to start and get as much play time as he is getting. he has taken enough play time and ruining it for others that deserve to play and can help the team more that he could. this goes for longstaff and murphy.
Have you ever watched a game or are you just a troll. Who should be playing Matt Ritchie….Lewis Miley cause thats all we got right now Gordon suspended Willock Big Jo Barnes. Almiron and Murphy are the right wingers theres no one else. Longstaff have you scene the winning percentage with Longstaff in the line up? Troll
@@pitchaxis1313 you wanna talk statistics? Okay longstaff had a nice 5.7 rating this match. Anderson literally cannot start a counter attack or help build one. I watch all rhe games and I want you to go back and watch how anderson slows the play and looks for the worst option possible. lewis hall played better in left wing than anderson and hes a left back. I want to understand this, if we rely on murphy as the key sub player we wont make it far anywhere.
Had Gordon been available, Anderson would have not started. Same with Lascelles and Botman. Once injured players are back, I am sure Newcastle will only get stronger.
Tonali should throw himself in front of that, if that is the Italian way he'd better shake it off as it wont fly in the prem. Got to put your body on the line.
Tonali doesnt seem to have Eddie Howe fitness standards yet. 90+ minutes is too long for him. But he'll get there eventually 09:33 Also I wouldn't solely blame Tonali. Anderson was constantly leaving a gaping hole behind him along the left side at the end of the match. You can see Bruno had to leave his mark. And Tonali was marking the late runner into the box. Basically everyone had to shift bc Anderson was caught out
What's disappointing to me is Newcastle's transfer window. They spent quite a lot for Livramento and Hall, only to be unused. To me, what they need is one explosive forward like Martinelli or Neto and one defensive midfielder like Declan Rice.
Newcastle have to keep the concentration up until the whistle blows. Too many result altering late goals conceded for too long now. Put them in the other end instead!
Burn getting forward a bit more recently, would have been a lush assist if isak had got his hat trick Decent point in the end cos we definitely got lucky with a few ref’s decisions
Tripper contract up in a couple of year give him another 5 year conteact easy play till hes 37 38 him n personally i can see him being newcastle manager someday really can
This Newcastle team is not similar to Bobby Robson's or Alan Shearer's era, but boy are they exciting to watch for the neutrals. There's a certain steeliness in them these days.
I cant believe how many people trust that these events arent scripted. Im out of this, now Im putting my trust solely in Awakenbeerus and his predictions
The long awaited day has arrived, the team spirit, the club's striker, regular goal scorer in every match, yes, that's right, Alexander Isak injured his knee in the match against West Ham, the club is in chaos, this is what I've been shouting about to buy 2 more strikers of the same level, Isak, Wilson , Almiron, who is currently available, Jonathan David, Ivan toney, Osimhen(, this one is too big), I don't know what Newcastle United can do without Isak, while Wilson is also not very fit. So we are waiting for Eddie Howe's favorite players, Gordon, Anderson, Barnes (injury now), Hall, Levramento, Miley, what can they do without Isak, or even the midfielders and defenders become attackers, usually like that when they are stressed, like when against West Ham, Matt Targett replaced left winger Anderson in the last minutes, so There is no longer a stock of quality attackers, but yesterday's transfer market stupidly didn't want to buy a grade A quality attacker, what an irony for Eddie Howe
