I still remember that goal against Osijek. I actually grew up there. Back then I was only 11 or 12 yrs old, but I am a West Ham fan since then :)

No fan of West Ham by any stretch, but fair play this is a great upload. Love listening to Razor and the interviewer got the best out of him. Seems a good down to earth fella (Razor that is....and the interviewer too I suppose haha!). I remember Razor scoring two goals for Southampton at Ayresome Park back in 1989 in a classic 3-3 draw. Jimmy Case, about 7 Wallace brothers, 95 year old John Burridge and a pre-pubescent Alan Shearer all featuring for Southampton! Hang on...WTF, just as I'm typing Razor starts chatting about some Boro lad who's a die hard Hammer!!!??? Fo' Shame :(

Razor was the VIP at a Kent Youth League Cup Final at Ashford back in the day. I was one of the "wankers in the black" in a team of four Refs (I was senior Assistant Ref). At the end he's presenting the trophy and meddles.... then gets to us four and he says over the microphone " Oh no, I ain't gotta give the referees a medal ave I?" Then off mic.... here you go then, ya bastards!! (he was laughing and joking). I told him I was a West Ham boy and he said " that's alright then, I don't feel so bad now... ". He was a great laugh and a total professional.

Ok so there is no more confusion West Ham finished 3rd in the First Division in the season of 85/86. The Premiere League began in 1992. We finished 5th in the Premiere League in the season of 98/99. Therefore our highest ever finish in the Premiere League was 5th.
