My best memory of going on a school trip to a theme park is going on shockwave with my besties

Charlotte, I'm surprised you are so afraid of those fellows, they are very friendly. We used to go through a Safari in Ohio and could keep the windows open and be able to feed the animals. I dropped some feed in the window track and a zebra tried to get it out and we had teeth marks on the van, I loved telling people it was zebra teeth marks because no one believed me. All sorts of pictures of my kids touching the long giraffe tongues and nose to nose with the zebras. So many memories.

I stayed in the giraffe lodge there and it was absolutely beautiful, when i woke up in the morning there was this big window looking out on the giraffes i would highly reccommend it, it is definitely worth the money! 👍

The park section has so much more potential. I feel like they need either need another thrill flat ride or a family thrill coaster from Intamin maybe like the new one coming at Drayton. Also i love how everyone takes very good care of the animals, it's amazing.

Came here today and it was great! Loved the safari, although I personally preferred it when you could go in as many times as you wanted. They had some music in the loading station for Dr Umboto’s but I aggree, some music/sound effects inside would be great!

Loved the vlog, really enjoyed and look forward for more in future, would love to stay inside one of those lodges aswell, but if its too pricey, won't be for now lol. Nice attraction here, love how you get both options to go through Safari in your own car or via one of their trucks, options. Wasn't sure before about timeslots, but when you stated about crowd levels, can understand that 100%. Nice decision they have made there, sad the goats have gone, not my favourite animal, but for families to see while there and your Goat park Worldwide vlogs, shame wasn't there anymore. Rides at this place could do with a new addition, maybe this could be an ideal fit for RMC new Moose Compacted Coaster? But themed around maybe tiger, lion or something else? Bring in crowds I think, if not another park or something else here, but nice vlog, enjoyed and look forward to seeing more in future. 😀👍

There is also Boston Park Farm which is not far from Yorkshire Wildlife Park, it is open from 10am to 4pm and costs £6 to get in, you can feed and handle the animals and they have goats, there is also a Maize Maze included in the cost and a tractor ride, there is a little cafe there toilets and handwashing facilities.

I found it funny when Charlotte screamed and moaned on the ride at 31:28. 31:55. 31:58. 32:04. 32:08. 32:14

A kids theme park opened about a year ago in Rotherham called Gulliver's Valley. You should check that place out.

I Was There yesterday!

Hey Sanbrookes, good seeing you on travels. Yes, keep on adventure, so... (may be interested) at Disneyland Anaheim (last night. sad). 100 year going on and most major rides closed. Managed to get on Resistance ride, "hurry, before shut down!". Crowds... unbearable. Rammed up to 12:am closing. Fireworks... no way. People sitting in street at 7:pm for 9:pm 5 minute show. Main was to get something for 100 year merch. Nothing in park store. Disney Town store has a small section. Not even mugs. Got a $20 refrigerator magnet! wow. But glad for the two rides on Resistance gotten! Take care.

Great vlog, i didnt realise that thay had some new animal viewing areas, pity about the dinosaurs, they have a great dinosaur area at Yorkshire wildlife park with working dinosaurs it is a really large park now with an hotel that overlooks the animals a camping area where you can hire tents or take your own, entertainment in and outside the park, retail outlets, a giant big wheel, they sometimes have fairground rides for the children in the park during the holidays but they never advertise them, they also have a restaurant with amatronic dinosaurs and a pirate show, you have to catch it at the right time for the pirate show as they only do that at busy times, but all through the summer they have got their mascot out meeting and greeting Victor the Polar Bear he is called. I have been going since it first opened and i am impressed with how they have grown into a major attraction, they have two ampatheatres for entertainment one outside the park and one inside, the one inside has Alice in Wonderland and Who,s Poo a childrens show telling you about the animals, and Victors Jungle Adventure and the ampatheatre outside the park has Pirates of Pantaloon Bay. They have lots of baby animals at the moment as well. It would make a great vlog for both your channels but i know how busy you get.

Top tip… go to the fair ground first… the safari is always quiet near the end of the day.

The Rhino Coaster is good for West Midlands Safari park and I get these Roller coasters with boomerang coasters like Accelerator at Drayton Manor

Just a note if you wanted a room that overlooks the animals at YWP you would have to specify thats what you wnated, some of them have balconies, they do do a package that includes two days admission to the park and some of the days in August the park is open till 8pm but you would have to check which days.

Monkey Mayhem is great and it is the only spinning Roller coaster I've been on

There is also a place nearby Boston Park Farm called the Yorkshire Ice Cream which is free to enter and where you can have an ice cream and a game of crazy golf, they have a restaurant and play areas for children as well.

I used to love riding the Fabbri Frisbee at Margate in 2001 and 2002, which I thought was the perfect intensity at the time. I loved it so much I was eager to try the Huss version, which I did when Pleasure Island got one. To be honest, the Huss one was way too intense for me, despite how much I liked the Fabbri version. On another note, Rhino Coaster looks like one of the best junior coasters in the UK (apart from the sharp braking!) I'm surprised we didn't get a few more of those 335m models.

Zambezi Water Splash is a good water ride and I think that it is better than Raging River ride at Paultons park

Kong is awesome and Terrifying and it's very intense but I like it for what it is

I went on the rhino coaster with my cousin before, most painful rollercoaster I’ve ever been on.

It's great to see a new vlog from West Midlands Safari Park! We usually go every Halloween but unfortunately we are going to be really busy during Halloween this year. My favourite ride is definitely Kong!

How long did it take you get round ? It took us nearly 3 hours in Feb half term.

Longleat you can feed the giraffes for circa £2-£3, two opportunities a day

Feel like they need some big coasters just to compete with the bigger parks.

Shawn and Charlotte, If your well heeled enough to use those Safari lodges , you might as well go on a real African vacation and see those animals in the wild or even better, watch the live streams on your HD computer screen:) That is really a great park, They used to have Baboons at Great Adventure in Jackson,N.J. ,where I grew up, but the Baboons would climb on the vehicles and start to pull off the trim and other parts...Yikes! Glad you had a good day, the Safari was horrific when I went about a month ago, even with the new allocated times. Took about 3 hours for us to get around & then the clutch broke on the car as we got to the Giraffes 🙈

I haven't been to the West Midland Safari Park for many years simply because i don't have a car or valid driving licence either. But i do remember having a great time when i did last go there in my brother's car. My favourite area of the Safari was the monkey enclosure, that was absolutely brilliant. The monkey's used to try and pull the window wipers from your car & even try to drink the screen wash so you have to be careful. Especially with the screen wash as it can be poisonous to the animals. I don't know if it is still there or not. There used to be a sign on the entrance to the Safari park animal enclosure saying that they do not take any responsibility for damage to vehicle's caused by the animal's. It should still be there to warn people. The 🙊 monkeys were great. They were daft animal's but i absolutely love them. It would be a really sad if they did get rid of the monkey enclosure. Hopefully relocate the monkeys to somewhere else that safe for them. But then again i love all animal's in general anyway. Except for vicious animal's of course. I believe you can still buy a small bag or box of food to feed the animal's for about £6. I don't know if they still do that because that was really nice. The animal's seem to be well looked after which is fantastic & have a lot of space in the enclosure which is great as well. The animal's are beautiful as well. The big Apple is not amazing but I like it for what it is

The Pirate ship does nothing but rock you back and forth but it is good but not as good as the Bounty at Drayton Manor

2:24 Glad you didn't role down the window. That animal might have gone in through the window and bite you and Charlotte. I love zoos, but I am not a fan of driving zoos because I get concerned the animals pecking my vehicle. I have a best friend who don't like any type of zoos at all and will refuse to go with me to the zoo.

Gutted you can only go round once now😞

Wild River Rapids is decent I like the Adventure Cove River Rapids at Drayton Manor better
