WATCH 👀 and follow our latest trainee firefighters from course 04/2022 on their 8-week trainee firefighter programme. On week two, it’s over to Andrew and Jane to tell you about their background and how they got on with ladders, hoses and drills!
Week two shows the trainees completing combination drills, using a 13.5m ladder, and operating a fire pump to get a hose reel to work and then changing to a main jet. They need to work as a team and become proficient with the equipment and learn and tie the correct knots.
