Our lovely West Runton Club Site is the perfect place to explore Norfolk’s glorious heritage coast and enjoy a relaxing seaside break. Located between the bustling beach resorts of Cromer and Sheringham, West Runton offers a quieter stay with excellent campsite amenities that’s still within easy reach of the local attractions. For a hearty walk, head up Beacon Hill - around a mile south of the site - and enjoy spectacular views over coast and countryside. Another great spot is Blakeney Point Nature Reserve - around half an hour’s drive from West Runton - which is home to a vast array of wildlife including seals and migrating birds. Take a boat tour and get up close and personal with the reserve’s inhabitants. Another local must-see is the Hillside Shire Horse and Animal Sanctuary, which is home to horses, ponies, donkeys, and an array of farmyard animals. For a grand day out by the seaside, Cromer offers a Victorian pier, a superb sandy beach, numerous shops and plenty of eateries - be sure to taste the famous Cromer crab, a local delicacy.
