"Director Nikolai Foster, choreographer Drew McOnie & MD Tom Deering are a dream team.
Drew McOnie is our next Matthew Bourne/Stephen Mear; there's choreographic references to Robbins & Michael Bennett, but he makes own mark.
Movement is violently & joyfully embedded in Leonard Bernstein's symphonic dance scoring; & it is zestfully played by @TomDeering's band.
I thought that WEST SIDE STORY at Sadlers Wells was a five-star pleasure; the NYMT one must get ten stars in that case.
