The West Somerset Railway's 'SPRING STEAM GALA' was held over the weekend of Friday 28th April to Monday 1st May 2023.
A strong Great Western Railway theme was set-up for the event although the last-minute withdrawal of a planned visiting locomotive saw a replacement in the form of a Southern-region loco in a non-authentic livery.
