WEST VIRGINIA SHORTLINES. Big Eagle Railroad, Appalachian & Ohio, R J Corman, West Virginia Central 

Enjoyed the video of shortline railroads in my home state. I took pictures of Big Eagle when it was the Winifrede RR back around 1968.

Awesome catches Jack! The Appalachian & Ohio retired the SD50s and ex-BAR units, and the A&O once leased SD90MACs from CEFX. Currently, A&O uses leased GMTX GP38s and GP40s. The SD50s and ex-BAR units went to other Watco operations when Watco sold the A&O, and the SD90MACs were returned to the lessor. The CEFX units were 125, 130, 133, and 144. This was taken back when Watco owned the Appalachian and Ohio.
