WOW! I'm amazed no one else has pointed this out in year, but he got the history wrong too! Jamestown and the Mayflower landing were BOTH in the 17th century, with the former being settled just 13 years before the occurance of the later.
to be fair, after a while they didn't go to avoid anything but godless sinners. they wanted to live in a puritan community and not suffer the decadence of Stuart-run England
The Pilgrims didn’t found the Massachusetts Bay Colony. That was the Puritans about ten years later in Boston. Easily confused because of the similar names and close proximity. They were religiously close, but not quite the same.
