I’m sure as probably many others are sure to say, we’ve missed you Mike! You are my way of traveling around the country and it’s great riding shotgun with you. Thanks for sharing your driving experiences when you can. Oh and post that previous video anyway, I’m sure we will all enjoy the scenery even if the commentary isn’t up to your high quality standards. We’ll forgive you this time…lol.😂
The first truck driving video I ever watched on RU-vid was riding shotgun on highway 50 a few years ago and have enjoyed every one since then, you are an amazing driver and I love the positivity that's why I keep watching, and yes post the other one. Thank you for everything you do, I understand the always being busy so when you do post videos they are very much appreciated 😊
Even in rain old Mike keeps ploughing through, like the old Pony Express his cargo must be on schedule and who are we to argue but sat in the shotgun seat we are grateful he happened by.
Hello Mike, I have missed you! I prayed for you and your family, not knowing if all was right in your world. I am a stroke survivor, and I "get out of the house" traveling with you.
You have no idea how much I've missed your driving commentary. My daughter says I make comments about other drivers very much like you. I love riding with you. Thanks for sharing your driving experiences.
@@EXIT7xAGit means riding in the passenger seat. Slang term from the days of gangsters. The shotgunner sat in the passenger seat to handle the shooting duties. Hence, riding shotgun.
I truly appreciate all you do. I so look forward to your new videos and I always watch the old videos over and over again it’s very comforting. i’m so glad you don’t have music! I like the quiet with just your voice occasionally giving commentary. Best trucking channel out there hands-down. Thanks Mike.
I have been watching all your videos. I love you commentary! You keep it so interesting. I totally agree with your viewpoints. Whenever I pass a truck, I get by as fast as possible. Keep making great videos!
Hi Mike you still driving? its been while since you posted, always look to see what you been up to. Hope all is well for you.and you are doing good and are safe and just taking a break. Thanks for sharing your driving experiences
I hitch-hiked with another trucker to Alaska and back for a few weeks while you were offline. But glad to see your video channel active again. His regular runs are more eastern US and midwest. Go ahead and post the video that has sound issues; I remember back when I used to drive over-the-road my voice sounded like it was in the background, but it wasn't a microphone issue, those trucks didn't have much sound insulation! 😉
Thanks for posting another video. I always enjoy them. I say yes, post the video. If the audio is too bad we can still enjoy the scenery. Btw, you sound great so I'm going to have to go back in the video to catch that guys name so I can check him out.
Greetings Mike, You have mentioned several times a problem with your microphone. Years ago (many years ago) I used to fly light aircraft in a private and commercial capacity, and in the cockpit, the unwanted noise level was quite high. I used a set of headphones with an attached stalk with a microphone attached. The stalk brought the microphone to just in front of my mouth. It was a "noise cancelling" mic, and apparently the resultant voice quality was perfect. I am sure you can get similar units for your units in the truck, with a single plug that has multiple contact bands on it. You would just have to check if the headphone/mic socket on the truck radio unit is fully compatible with the headphone/mic plug of your headphone/mic unit.
I would recommend talking to live sound production companies about mics. Often they are resellers as well, or they can put you in contact with their sales reps. Another great place often is Sweetwater. While they won't have local reps, there sales guys and general support staff can point you in the right direction to make sure you get what your looking for and are happy. Often guaranteeing it.
Dear Shotgun! post that video....we will still enjoy and respect your video work......Never give in. You have nerves of steel....Stay Strong and Stay Calm.....
Good to see you ... on the road again!!! Regarding your contemplation of the universe and yourself in it -- been there a lot. A philosopher/mathematician by the name of René Descartes said, "I think, therefore, I am." The Moody Blues said: "I think, therefore, I am .... I think." Fun and interesting stuff. See Ya!!
Always enjoy your videos. Maybe there is a way you can fix the voice on the video you were talking about. Idk. But with all the tech out there I'd think there spuld be a way to reverse it. Idk. Just a thought. Peace!
Mountain Man Mike!! The Legend, the Man... the myth - at least we were starting to think - SO GLAD you're back brother. We miss you SO much. I just read through all the comments - man these people (like us) Love you and ALWAYS welcome all the videos you give us. I understand the whole "Religious" thing.. I was like that too. One day I discovered something amazing... there is a manual for life inside the Bible... NO Not "religion" just Jesus. Dont listen to all their ideas and opinions... everyone means well (I hope) but the ONLY one that matters is Jesus - He died so that we could live - not survive. I live in peace now, knowing that I dont have to "be" someone else's idea of "good" - Jesus died to exchange His blood for mine - and yours. Just talk to Him and watch how fast you will put that goddard stuff and all their ideas in the rearview mirror. Man has complicated things - God made it simple Love you man - I will keep praying for you🙏🙏🙏
Riding "Shotgun" has become an addiction ~ Great videos "MountainManMike" ~ your videos and commentary are top notch! And that from someone out in Africa so you can only imagine how intense your snow driving abilities are to us guys here where the Sun shines 365 days a year! Do your thing bro! Hey Mountain Man Mike, what's your take (as a truck driver) on classic semi trucks like Kenworth K100 Aerodyne cabover or Peterbilt 379? Like them or hate them?
For someone who lives in the flat lands of America , I am just in Heaven watching these beautiful mountains flash by my eyes ! Such beauty to behold !! Thank you for sharing !😯🤗💞
