Residents in a Westchester neighborhood say their town should not have granted a building permit for a large house on a small lot, and some want the $1.6 million home under construction to be torn down; CBS2's Tony Aiello reports.
So Doug Amann liked the view of the woods but they weren't his woods. This is an example of someone wanting to control someone else's property, but unwilling to pay for it.
Yes, jealously plays a big part as usual. I was wondering, do these people resemble them in any way or form? Need to take a hard look at that! Something is not being said here.
People don’t have nothing else to do but worry about what someone else is doing. Like damn mind y’all business and improve your own home… or don’t! Sheesh
@@haveaniceday5780 Not everybody is a real estate investor - I think most people just want to live in peace with low taxes. Many people (especially retired seniors) have to sell the house if taxes go up. Moving is not fun.
He is my neighbor Doug Amann. He is pain in my a**holes. I get a window from a glass, he must get a window from a glass. I get a step, he must get a step. I get a clock radio, he cannot afford. Great success!
The worst decision I ever made was selecting a home in an H.O.A neighborhood. H.O.A s need to be abolished and some other form of enforcement of neighborhood covenants should replace them.
So what? These damn neighbors have absolutely nothing to do or be concerned of other more important issues? Owners got all the necessary permits to build & this particular neighbor is bitching & moaning? Get a life…..geezzz !
The City can either do the right thing and let it go, or let Doug get them into a legal battle they will lose and a possible great tax payers. Doug can move. I also think there is space for another 3 rooms.
How is a boy shot in a project building in Brooklyn not make it on the news but I caring neighbor arguing about a nice house being built next to his pathetic trailer you will die and you'll be punished in the afterlife in the real true life where you feel everything on another level and there will be nothing but pain because you did not do what you were meant to do and you only obeyed your desires so good luck friend
I can guarantee you those workers aren’t legal walk by the house with a ICE jacket on and watch them all scatter 🤣🤣 stop hiring cheap labor and hiring legal America citizens!!!!!
The house should not have been granted a permit. The reason why there are strict rules about what you can build is so that the neighborhood doesn't end up looking like a patchwork of mismatched parts. That house looks awful.
