EveryTIME I see a style 8, I want to call it... "the MARY TYLER MOORE clock..."😉😉

That basically looks like they took the parts for a style 8 Baby Ben movement and rearranged it to fill Big Ben's case better. It's nice that thay kept the removable spring barrel. Flip that "12 11" date stamp upside down and it might be "11 71"= Nov 1971? Weird Looking Clock Movement Appreciation Society approved! And yes, a video on the Scotland 2-key movement will be made

I didnt know that the big ben and the baby ben had the same movement at one point! Interesting...

You’ve finally moved to the Big Ben 8. Sounds like 👍 Big Ben 7 has been giving ya trouble 👿. I would have bought at least several Big Ben clocks 🕰 at a yard sale, or an estate 🏡 sale for the part ya need, if that was the case. I never 👎 really thought 💭 of Big Ben and Baby Ben movements to be exactly identical, but that’s a logical thought 💭. The movements are identical in their own separate sizes, so they are not interchangeable between the two clocks 🕰. Your friend, Jeff.

I have a Big Ben alarm clock and the hour hand is off, it's behind. IDK how to fix it. It looks like 30 to 45 minutes behind.
