I have the green model and it plays sooo good. I usually play Jackson but I bought one of these out of curiosity and I have not been disappointed, I've gigged with it and it performed great. This is a well made guitar and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a solid guitar.
Got mine today. Wow, I've been getting ripped off all this time. I just returned a Charvel DK24 because it just wouldn't hold tune. I played the hell out of the Revenge bending the strings to the limit and it held tune very well, considering it has new strings I was impressed. I lowered the action a bit and it's great, no dead frets nothing. I couldn't find one thing wrong with it. And I've always wanted a Destroyer type axe. This thing has already inspired my playing. For $220. The DK24 cost me $700 used...
I was finally able to order a black one. I contacted the company and asked them to make some more and they did! They contacted me when they were ready and had 4 in stock. I’m glad I ordered one that night because they were sold out the next morning. So pumped for this. I’ve always wanted an explorer type guitar but never wanted to pay the price for the name on the headstock for the ones that are available. So happy with this purchase!
great demo brother. been looking at this exact explorer copy for my grandson. i want to hip you to a guitar i just bought the sawtooth 12 string electric acoustic!!!! frigging wow. i received this beauty on their half off sale 3 months ago. it took me 13 days to get it, it took that long because they put a full set up on it. when received it was 1/2 step low top e string and a fraction flat on the g string. after tuning up I have played this almost every day for three months and have tuned it twice!! the intonation on this beauty is amazing. I know you're a metal head but brother nothing is more beauty full than an electric 12. I've own a 1975 12 string guild, seagull Gibson and a Washburn and actually once on a drug induced coma bought a bought a Taylor (junk) sorry the truth hurts. this instrument market is so great right now these cheap low-end guitars I've been purchasing have been really good for the price point. i challenge you to demo the sawtooth 12 electric they are phenomenal. love your channel. I'm 65 and there is nothing ever going to beat rock and roll baby. rap is a fad, but rock is legend. love your playing keep going sum day maybe the rock gods find favor with the soul you have in the fingers brother.
Very good, honest, and comprehensive review of an axe for those on an extremely tight budget, and it is truly best bang for the buck! I just got mine, and aside from a much needed truss rod adjustment, action and intonation setup, it's a real nice, great looking axe! But, I will change the pickups on mine because I don't really like the stock ones.
Great video. Thanks for going in depth on this guitar. Like you and probably everyone watching, I saw this guitar on Amazon and saw the price and was very apprehensive, but I think I’m going to buy one after seeing this review.
I just got the Green one about 2 weeks ago. It's well worth the money! But I did change out the God-awful strings for GHS Boomers, Had to adjust the intonation, lower the action, and raise the pickups, I did put different knobs on it. I also added strap Locks but changed to location of the front one to the position of where it would be on most guitars. Over time I will put better tuning machines on it and probably the bridge. The D string did not intonate fully and ran out of room to go forward anymore. But it is close. Did Not have to adjust the truss rod and there were no buzzing frets so that was good. Amazing guitar for Metal! Just be prepared to give it a set up on it right off the bat.

I bought the lite blue one , the westcreek DC one and I love it, my band plays classic rock music, I use it sometimes on certain songs, the guitar sounds awesome though my 2 Mesa Boogie’s running stereo, and all I had to do on the guitar setup was to adjust the thrust rod it’s a cool little guitar! I use my 61 Reissue SG , EVH WolfGang , my other SG with P90 pickups and my Custom Shop Jeff Beck Stratocaster! And I still will grab that Westcreek DC for certain songs!

I bought a green one for $219. I suggest anyone who is interested should not hesitate. Buy one. They're excellent guitars. You will not find a better one for that price. I was most impressed by two things: the sound and the frets.
The Leo Jaymz KITS are awesome. No name on the headstock that you can cut yourself. Dope. Try one. I bought the $109 Tele with 2 point trem and humbuckers, and it rocks. Got Nuno to sign it, too! OH and BTW, your comment about the Nickel allergy explains why my hands break out after playing for too long!! holy shit !!
Very cool after seeing this vid the other day i sent it to my dad he's been wanting to get into playing anyway after he watched this vid he ordered himself one 2 days ago I told him I plan on getting one he ordered me one 5 mins later then yesterday they aren't currently available but I'll be getting mine tomorrow I have had way higher end guitars but this looks nice for the price nice solid modder platform I'll probably change tuners and pickups but yeah great bid man

Insane value, solid guitar. I bought a JS32 RR with trem recently but this looks like a better buy for a beginner like me. Personally, I don't mind the brandname and headstock logo either.
You made a good review video, and I looked and they also have a Flying V that I might try for the same price. Trying to decide on the Amber or the Silver as the finish is also on the neck.
When you mention body pieces in te electronic cavity. You actually refer to toolmarks from router bit as it was routing the hole. It goes level by level in like 2cm layers deeper and deeper. Bodies arent usually pieces of wood laminated on eachother in multiple layers (except for top). Multi piece body means multiple 4cm pieces glued by sides to cover area big enough for body to fit in. There exist guitars where body is laminated the way you described but it is absolute minority and was done mostly in the past not nowadays.
I might buy it as a side project to tinker with. I have a set of PRS Tremonti pickups, CTS pots, a few orange drop caps, and a switch craft hand wired switch sitting around looking for a home. The parts would be 2.5x the price of the guitar, so maybe not the best idea. Then again, they are worth much just sitting in my drawer. We'll see.
I purchased the red version of this guitar when they first hit Amazon. My bridge also says Epi*****. My pickups are just like the ones on my Epiphone Les Paul... PAF Humbuckers (Chrome). My factory volume knob goes from 0 to 10 at about half a turn... so I have replaced the pots. Bone nut: yes The action on mine is a tad higher than I'd like it to be. The sustain on mine is pretty darn good for a China made guitar. My review is there along with pics so you can see what mine looks like. I plan to get Westcreek's green version next. Is this guitar worth the money? Yes
Nuts not bone but mine came basically unplayable but me and my dad set it up. Shaved down some frets because the action was screwd but we put in a demarzio de activator and now its a beast along with pro steel strings we slapped on
im super on board with being really picky about all asthetics of a new guitar. font and name for me, are kind of paramount in a really lame way. if the fonts off, nah. if they name is kinda weak, nah. but, this guitars build quality seems like solid platform to upgrade on with serious pickups, and locking tuners.
I had already purchased the same model and concur with most of what you dwelt on, however, those are low and miniscule frets, and no guitar that is supposed to be good for any kind of rock or HR or blues should have those.
I have the little Peavey Rage , great amp. I have never played a 14 inch radius, how is it compared to a 12 and a 9.5? My Epiphone 12 inch has a horrible flat backed bolt on neck. I broke my shoulder and the nerves in my hand go numb, I have a Tele 50s. Neck U shape 7.25, a Silvertone Strat 9.5 C neck and the Epi and a 12 string acoustic DR-212, that it has a flat back 12inch radius.
