Loved working with Rob he's a badass! I hauled for Western at one point... the guy in this video is my friend! I haul loads into California or Phoenix and run into him often.. He's a good guy!! Western is a top notch place 🤘
I have the 1st W990 that was ordered through Truck Enterprise in Manassas, Va and the 1st and only one in our company. The W990 was a surprise for me from the boss. Absolutely love the truck! Been driving T800's & T880's since 2006 and this truck is spec'd very similar to the T880 I got out of and it rides better and gets a lil better fuel mileage. Received tons of compliments and a heck of a lot of head turns cause a truck like this is new and fresh looking in my area. Kenworth has done a fantastic job in designing this truck!👍👍
Hey man I'm thinking about coming on over there how is orientation? How are the trucks set up are you allowed to idle them ? Or do they kill themselves after 3 minutes if you could get back to me on the details I'd gratefully appreciate it
@@aarronortiz4178 Hey, I've been driving for C.L.S Trucking here in Fredericksburg, Va for 13 years now. Great company and as far as idling the trucks, I wouldn't recommend idling them. If you're driving a sleeper truck they have Tri Pacs on them and if you drive a dump than I'd recommend that if you're gonna idle for extended periods of time to set the cruise and idle up to 1000 rpms. The trucks do not have idle timers on them.
Always have been impressed with Western Distributing Transportation, don't see alot of their trucks in Pennsylvania but when you do they really stand out!
Been driving for awhile now & I’ve learned a few things. One of them being, pretty truck/low wages. Some years ago, I reach out to western & ask bout wages - TOTAL GARBAGE!
You are not wrong... I'm a swifty and would take a pay cut to go work for them. Beautiful trucks, though. 50cpm starting at Western and they want 3 years. I'm making 64cpm with less than 1 year.
SMDH. I always thought these guys were O/O because of all the nice rigs/trailers. Come to find out they pay their company drivers what a rookie driver makes and have the balls to require 3 years exp.. Really? I'd rather work at Wal-mart..
You gotta think about this, they all have the same cab and interior rhe W900, T800 and T660. The W900 just has a forward setting front axle and the W990, T880 and T680 are identical except that they use the 2.1meter cab. It's a common practice that all manufacturers do, same cab with different hoods across their product line.
Your pay is a joke. I bet it's a sweat deal for you to offer a beautiful to drivers like a carrot on a stick. Then get those drivers to pay for that truck for you via lower wages. Don't be loser if you want a truck like this then do the work that it takes to buy one and pay it off then as an O/O especially running payment free you'll make great money. But losers are people that are always looking for shortcuts because they don't want to do the work that it takes to get to where they want go in life and that's why we call them losers.
