I hope all these people can recover and RIP for the people that lost their lives. My prayers are with the families Praying for Kentucky and for their families. 🙏🏻
Wow! I'm really shocked. I am praying for all that have been effected by these storms, for all of you to please stay strong. From what I'm seeing, you all are not calling it quits. You all are ready to clean up. Showing true resilience!! Prayers
Even if they had warning, where would they go? It is still their home and they would still be at home if they weren't at work. Nature will always win against man.
We did have warning. Tons of it. But what else were we supposed to do? It was WAY worse than they predicted but no one is able to know the extend of these things.
We had warning. It was dark. After midnight. Most people did what they were supposed to do. It's amazing more lives weren't lost. Our town is strong. People are pulling together. Most tornadoes occur in summer. This one is extremely rare.
I know it seems impossible but you will survive and build your city back even better than before. There are many structures that can’t be replaced unfortunately. I went through a tornado that totally our house. Don’t hesitate to ask others for help. I also went through a Derecho a little over a year ago. You may have never heard of a Derecho before, I hadn’t. It’s a land hurricane. It devastated large portions of Iowa. Disaster workers hear said it was the worst disaster they had ever worked.
I remember hearing about a Derecho hitting somewhere a year or so ago and it was pretty bad. These people have a long road ahead, but with God by their side they will all make it through the pain and the strain.
Anyone from Western KY and the surrounding area/tornado path who sees this video/comment please let us know if we can help with supplies, food, clothing, etc. A group of Christian men in the Louisville area are ready and available to help. We just need to know what is needed and where to deliver it. Meantime, prayers are being lifted up for all of you. 🙏🏻
I’m saddened to hear of the fatalities in BG. My hometown of Paducah was spared, but Mayfield is gone. I, my husband, my late mother and father, and my brothers are all WKU alumni. I know the city and the campus has changed so much since I graduated in ‘78. My last year there, I lived on Old Morgantown Road near the parkway, in a little one bedroom house “in the country”that I loved. There were three houses on the property. A larger house and 2 small ones. Mine was at the bottom of the dirt road. I think there’s now a Walmart across the street from the property. I also lived at 1415 College Street right next to the Rock House and across the street from the ATO house (Animal House). The Animal House is a parking lot, pretty sure they tore down our once magnificent home at 1415 and rebuilt a new frat house, and the Rock House is also gone. I loved my time at Western and loved Bowling Green. It’s where my parents met, and where I met my husband. This is a sad time for KY. Sending love and prayers from TX.
@@Alejandro-mv1lh this Tornado that went from Arkansas through KY was on the ground longer the any storm in History over 200 miles so no this doesn't happen all the time. I personally experienced 2 devastating floods this year...zero the previous 20 years I lived here. Also we had an Ice Storm last December that was so damaging it took 2 weeks to get my power back on. That just me personally...but yea ok believe what u want buddy. I was a coal miner and thought global warming was total bull shit then I looked into actual data and just how much we have heated the earth since the industrial age. Just wait another 10 years...

No it won't , be the same. because all the families and friends , and others who give time and manpower to rescue ,console ,and clean up, the American dream will rekindle and the love of life and freedom will rebuild the city and make new friendships.
She's right, it will never be the same. IT WILL BE BETTER! It will be better because y'all will rebuild, and you will remember the unity and the fact that you all survived this together. It will make you stronger than you ever were before.
Its hard right now but with your preserving it will all come to pass! Remember! The Good Lord won't give you more than you can handle 🙏. All our prayers for All you!
I got my ADN and BSN at Bowling Green University years ago. I live in Florida now, and my heart goes out to my friends there. Lucky that our family was all okay.
I used to not believe in global warming but just here in the last few years i've changed my view on it, all those hurricanes and now I notice Tornados are popping up in places you never used to see them like the one that hit Dayton, Ohio a few years back and destroyed Scene 75 and old Hara Arena...something is definitely changing...I also notice we don't get the crazy cold winters anymore like I remember in the 80's and 90's we get these weird winters where you'll get 70 degrees some days.....A friend of mine got a sunburn in Ohio in February and that just doesn't happen...I mean who's fooling who? Climate change is on the march...
The world has been warming since the last ice age. It will turn in a couple thousand years and start to get cold again and the cycle will continue. Or, we can believe that Trump and some farting cows are to blame. Its not a bad thing for all of us to want to be better stewards of the planet, but ultimately, the world is going to warm and cool at its own pace.
WKU was one of my choices I could of gone to for college three years ago. My heart goes out to every single individual impacted and some could of even been my classmates. I ultimately chose EKU but WKU was a top choice.
Yes exactly right. It will NEVER be the same. With that said that doesn't mean that it won't get rebuilt. It will and everything will be back to "normal " for the most part. Here in Onalaska,TX it's not the same. Very tall trees are gone forever which does change the landscape. There's broken trees, trees missing the top 40 ft of the tree and dead all over the place. Of course we took care of our trees but other people haven't. It's getting better with time.
Interesting outpouring of care and concern after tornadoes kill almost as many Kentuckians in a single day as COVID has been killing each day for three months...
And why haven't people been praying before this happened, knowing a tornado could go thru Tornado Alley at any time. Dear God: Don't let another tornado come thru Tornado Alley!
us kentucky folk will stick together we will get you through this ... have faith in jesus never forget he has a plan it may not make sense but he must have needed angels ... your still reading this
@@raysova7666 🙄 right. Trump publicly mocking disabled people and calling soldiers "losers" is much better, right? Way to make a tragedy into something political.
@@cjburns7926, I thought the same about Trump. Theres a vedio about it. Short story; The media MADE the story(s). Here's an other short story;if America needed a black President,Herman Cain would have been better for the Nation n it's people. He's the one that said in effect that GOD wants 10%(in tithes) I'll ask for 9% in taxes. He was a BUSSINESS man trying to do good for America, not bring it down like Obama. Why should u or I have to pay for a woman's abortion n have never met her ? Another short story ;I'm dumb not stupid. I was born in the morning, but not this morning. One more; I'm a Marine,N I thought President Reagan was against us. Refer to the Lebanon terrorist truck bomb that killed over 200 marines. I always thought he did nothing about it. Decades later I find out he ordered an investigation to retaliate. Then he ordered the entire Iranian navy destroyed. Now lately I dispise him. With a stroke of the pen made law that no one can sue Big Pharma for damages(due to vaxx harming people). Moral;don't trust politicians.
It can Be The Same ... Learn From Xenia Ohio . Dont Give Into lifelong Dread , From the Ashes yall ..Positive Mental Attitude . Much Love and Prayers . i notice alot of folk speak of the grace of God , Maybe its a test of compassion and resilience maintaining your faith through such tragedy ... much love and God Bless Yall
I was thinking they should try to recycle as much debris as possible and use it to build tiny homes for struggling people who were renting or without insurance to cover damages.
This just shows don’t take material things to heart, but love your humans not your material things of this world, LOVE JESUS PEOPLE He is the only person to get you thru this
The Dangerous one, Right after unusual multiple tornadoes destroying lives, homes and communities "IS" the best time to talk about CLIMATE change. And thx goodness, there are social programs Republikkkans haven't CUT yet... that will aid people at this most desperate time.
All I can think about is I want these people to have basic needs right now. They have NOTHING. WHAT CAN WE DO? We need to get our priorities together as Americans and take care of our people. Come on humans. We can do it. My heart bleeds. ❤
American people together.. not a race word one.. just all the same no one better just together.. God bless and the beautiful people that’s there for one another.. the hate peoples will never attend helping people in need..guaranteed.. spread love, kindness and prayers...
Ok now somebody needs a couple of trailers and get all the good 2+4s out of all the rubble and reuse the good wood that's left may God help you rebuild
Is TPLF responsible for this destruction? It seems my home town Dessie. #No More I always remember my mom how she cries and affected by USA aided TPLF. Hands off Ethiopia
