RIVERTON TOWNSHIP -- Members of the Western Michigan Old Engine Club met at the Mark Lipps farm Wednesday where they cut grain in preparation for the club's 50th Old Engine and Tractor Show, which will be held Thursday, Aug. 1 through Saturday, Aug. 3 at Scottville Riverside Park.
The grain is used for threshing and baling exhibits at the show. It was grown and donated by Thurow Farms.
During the grain cutting, members of the club use equipment that was used on farms in the early- and mid-20th century.
