Insta360 gave me the task to shoot the best quality time-lapse I could with their ONE R 1-inch Edition action camera, co-enginered with Leica. I had only 5 days, and this is what I came up with after a short trip to Western Norway. All time-lapses were shot in 5.3K resolution with the ONE R.

Great stuff! I get that you are using ISO Priority, but is your normal setting for the interval 7 seconds? I'd like to experiment with the technique of time lapse, but I'm a beginner in this area, so any pointers would be welcome (from anybody, since Morten seems to be busy).

Mesmerising! Loved the other video too (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4F3QNoc9YtA.html) with all of your setup and explanations. I was thinking of another 360 camera (Ricoh Theta Z1) but love the modular style of this one -- also too for the 1-inch module (and aerial cage for 'invisible' drone mode). Stunning landscapes you have captured.

An other excellent example of: You do not need the best and most expensive equipment that money can by. You need to know your equipment and how to use it. A true master will get excellent results even with mediocre equipment. Did I spot Loen and Olden at 0:43 and the Skylift at 1:15?

I have used this camera. To be honest the quality of this 1-inch sensor camera is not as good as I thought. But that also means the landscapes of Norway and the filming of Morten Rustad are equally awesome.

This looks stunning! Watching on a phone I couldn't tell a difference in image quality to one of your regular timelapses. Also I thought that the shot at 0:17 was a drone shot at first, until I realized that it's just close up rocks. 😅

Tashi Delek Morten. Clip starting 00:21 sec.. Forward motion timelapse. How do you do it without slider in the view? Is it just a simple crop during editing?
